Our cute modern cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood one block from downtown Weaverville and a 10 minute drive to Asheville. This brand new cottage boasts a rare combination of a natural mountain setting with walking access to Weaverville. Take a dip in the private hot tub, or a short walk through the Main Street Nature Park which leads you to a world famous bakery, or to enjoy a yummy meal at one of our restaurants or breweries. We also have a twin futon downstairs and a foldable twin bed to accommodate a total of 10 guests. After your long journey or a day of exploring, you can spend your evenings on the large back deck to admire the peace and quiet of our secluded Tree Heaven. Enjoy outdoor dining, our large BBQ grill, lounging by one of our two fire pits or sinking into the extra plush sofa for movie night and our popcorn bar. Tucked away inside an upstairs bedroom closet, The Cub Cave is a cozy play area created just for kids. Whimsically decorated, it provides a fun space for our youngest guests to enjoy themselves with board games and a children’s library. The Grateful Dead themed room on the bottom level is a certain highlight of any music fan’s stay at Dancing Bear Den. The open floor plan of the kitchen, dining area, and great room allows everyone to gather and spend time together. Three living levels gives everyone the opportunity to go find their own quiet space.
