"A very nice ******* homestay, overall quite good, easy to find the location. It snowed on the second day of my stay. The floor heating in the room was very warm, and there was an electric blanket on the bed. It was not cold at all in the snow. I stayed there for 3 consecutive days. The weather was bad, and I kept waiting to see the sunrise on the Golden Mountain. Parking was also very convenient, the small courtyard was very beautiful, the bathroom was also wide, and the water pressure was also very strong. Living halfway up the mountain, it was very quiet, and the scenery was particularly beautiful when walking up. It was also quite close to the scenic spot, supermarket, and market, less than 10 minutes by car. It is worth mentioning that the ******* boss was very enthusiastic. I called him late at night or early in the morning to ask about something, and he answered very enthusiastically. I will stay here again next time."

"A young ******* couple opened a homestay. Although I stayed there for one day, I deeply felt their simplicity, kindness and thoughtfulness. They knew that we had some altitude sickness, so they sent us butter tea and got up early at 6:30 in the morning to take us to the observation deck to watch the sunrise.

We saw the golden mountain in the sun. The service of Songtsan was also online. However, the food in Meili was really bad. The restaurant management was very good. They kept changing the dishes and waived the meal fee in the end. However, as a hotel at this price, it should be improved. There were also bugs in the food. When we checked out in the morning, the front desk service was always on the phone. We waited for 10 minutes at the door with two luggages. It was hard to describe."

"A new hotel in Wunongding, opened in 2025. I've stayed at other hotels in Dalezhiye before (in Qiandao Lake and Zhongwei), but I was a bit disappointed with the Dalezhiye in Wunongding.
The hotel is in a good location, about a two-minute walk from the Wunongding Observation Deck. The interior design is nice, and the rooms are clean, but there are a few shortcomings. First, the elevator was broken on check-in day. My room was on the second floor, so I had to walk up. The observation deck and rest area are both on the fourth floor. Because of the altitude, the walk up and down was a bit breathless. They said it would be repaired that evening, but it wasn't. Second, there's a construction site and a large tree right in front of the hotel, which obstructs the view of the snow-capped mountains from the hotel, slightly imperfecting the view. Third, as a new hotel opened in 2025, the rooms inevitably have a slightly renovated feel. Fourth, the laundry service was a bit chaotic. I was given two bags of laundry, but only one was returned. I only found the second bag after reporting it. Furthermore, the laundry was stuffed directly into the bag, leaving my T-shirts and shirts very wrinkled. In fact, the overall stay was okay, all the necessary services were provided, and the service attitude was also good, but some details were not handled well, which detracted from the impression. I hope that it can be improved in the future."

"At first, I compared many places online, and finally I saw a B&B that allowed cooking and had a fireplace. After the phone consultation, the reservation was made.
The real thing is more beautiful than the photo. The room is very high-end and it is very comfortable to lie in. The price is quite affordable, it is really a very cost-effective homestay. The store manager is very nice and provides fruits, snacks and beer. We bought groceries, cooked, and then ate, drank, sang, and chatted together. The fireplace especially created a lot of atmosphere and was perfect for taking photos.
Whatās even more interesting is that the password box was broken, and we finally found the store manager who patiently found the tools to help us open it.
The whole stay process was particularly pleasant and reassuring. The layout of the room is also a style I like very much. It is very simple and fresh. All kinds of facilities are available, and the hygiene is even more meticulous. It is a very satisfactory stay experience. Recommended! ! ! !

This is by far the best hotel Iāve ever stayed at in China. The room was incredibly spacious, and the hospitality from the reception team was outstanding. Every member of the staff was friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.
One of the highlights is the Wunongding Observation Deck, located right in front of the hotel ā offering breathtaking views just steps from our door.
The hotel also provides complimentary afternoon tea via room service, beautifully presented and served by a polite and gracious young lady, č¾¾ē¦åå®. It was a lovely touch that made us feel very pampered.
In the evening, we enjoyed red wine and biscuits at the rooftop bar, where we had a delightful experience hosted by Mr. å굩äø. The atmosphere, views, and service combined to create a memorable night.
During check-out, my brother was feeling unwell due to the high altitude. A kind staff member named ę£ē½ prepared a special tea for us to help ease the symptoms. His thoughtfulness and care truly touched us and made a noticeable difference.
Every staff member we encountered was genuinely helpful and warm. We felt cared for every moment of our stay.
If we ever have the chance, we would absolutely love to return. Highly recommended!"

ZZhaoziyangMore attention should be paid to guest convenience during their stay. The two steps inside the room were unnecessary and quite inconvenient. The evening set menu was quite mediocre. But the most unacceptable thing was the breakfast setup where they were individually pan-frying prawns. Not only did hardly anyone eat them, but the entire dining area was filled with the smell of fried prawns. The cooking fumes then spread throughout the hallways, and we could even smell it distinctly in our 5th-floor room. Even after we checked out and drove away, the smell of those cooking fumes seemed to cling to us for the entire journey. The hotel's design and ambiance were lovely, but our overall stay experience was completely marred by the pervasive cooking fumes from breakfast!

AAnonymous UserHands down the most satisfying hotel on our Yunnan trip. Both the service and the indoor and outdoor environment were absolutely impeccable.
The service quality was on par with any five-star hotel in mainland China. The personalized butler service was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. They offer pick-up and drop-off services for guests, and organize daily entertainment activities within the hotel, such as Wei Sang rituals and fireworks displays. Breakfast can be delivered to your room, and they proactively inquire about guests' preferences for late-night snacks. Every single staff member was incredibly polite and friendly, and even the hotel's resident dog was exceptionally well-behaved.
As for the environment, you can enjoy stunning views of the sun-kissed golden mountains right from your bed in the guestroom. The views and lighting from the rooftop cafƩ and observation deck were absolutely stunning; every picture is postcard-perfect. They even provide phone stands on the guest room balconies, making it incredibly convenient for guests to take photos.

Sitting on the windowsill, you can witness the snow-capped mountains, sea of āāclouds, sunrise, and sunset all unfolding in turn ā the view is expansive and unobstructed, every snapshot a masterpiece.
The receptionist kindly helped with my luggage, and the afternoon tea was plentiful. Enjoying fruit and tea while gazing at the ever-changing light and shadow on the snow-capped mountains from the viewing platform ā this is what a vacation should be!
Mid-August evenings can be a bit chilly, but the room has underfloor heating and electric blankets, keeping the room and bed warm and cozy. The hotel offers lunch and dinner.
Taking photos from the foggy rooftop and the hotel's panoramic window ā the best photos of the year to share on social media! Highly recommended for all snow-capped mountain chasers!
(Tip: Remember to bring a telephoto lens and tripod!)

LLIBBYWINDHaving seen this guesthouse highly recommended online with excellent reviews, we decided to book it. We arrived quite late, but the owner himself greeted us. He mentioned a family room was coincidentally available and upgraded us. Seeing there were three of us, he even offered an extra breakfast, ensuring we'd be well-fed and comfortable. So thoughtful! My daughter even commented on how refined and gentlemanly the owner is.
Despite being established 20 years ago, it's been renovated and doesn't show its age. The guesthouse is exceptionally well-equipped: plenty of power outlets, a LIFAV hairdryer, numerous hangers, and even a dedicated clothesline. They also provide a Bear humidifier, oxygen concentrator, oximeter, quality tissues (Qingfeng), and surprisingly, even nail clippers, an electric blanket, and spare quilts. Mineral water bottles are freely available on a corridor table. The owner's thoughtfulness is truly outstanding.
My favorite feature was the room's balcony, which directly faced the snow-capped mountains. We could watch the magnificent 'Golden Mountain Bathed in Sunlight' (sunrise over the snow peaks) from there, and there's also a rooftop viewing area. Unfortunately, it rained that day, so we only saw clouds.
The female staff member was diligent and polite. The guesthouse offers a Continental breakfast, one portion per person, which was very filling, although the bacon was a bit too salty. As breakfast time was nearing its end, the staff member would kindly call guests who hadn't eaten yet to ask if they still wanted breakfast ā a very thoughtful gesture. However, receiving a call at 11:30 AM to remind us about the 12 PM check-out felt a bit premature. It would be better to call guests after 12 PM.
The guesthouse is located by the roadside, so it can get a bit noisy when large trucks pass by. However, it didn't disturb our rest at all; we slept very soundly. When we checked out, the landlady and staff proactively helped us with our luggage.
The owner's family runs the guesthouse with great dedication, always polite and considering things from the guests' perspective. Service is their top priority, and they use high-quality, branded products. Wishing the owner a prosperous business! We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip to Meili Snow Mountain.

The hotel's location is simply unbeatable! My room had a direct, unobstructed view of the snow-capped mountains. Every morning, pulling back the curtains, I was greeted by the breathtaking spectacle of the 'Golden Mountain' ā the peaks glowing golden under the rising sun. Being able to witness the mountains change from the soft hues of dawn to the deep colors of dusk right from my bed ā this experience is truly beyond words; it's something you simply have to experience to truly understand!
I hope to return again someday to experience the tranquility and warmth at the foot of the sacred mountains once more!

Let me start with the environment. The cabin has a skylight. Lying in bed at night and watching the stars is so romantic that it satisfies my childhood fantasy. You can see the Goddess Peak of Meili Snow Mountain from the courtyard. You can watch the stars in the courtyard at night.
Let's talk about the sanitation and facilities. It is very clean, the whole house is smart, and the facilities are very new.
Finally, the service is very enthusiastic. The eldest brother doesn't talk much, but he always responds to requests; the eldest sister loves to chat, very enthusiastic, and makes people feel particularly kind; the younger sister is also very thoughtful, and she recommends routes and sunrise times without getting tired of it.
Next time I come to see the snow mountain, I will definitely come to this B&B again.

GGuest UserMy room was as described. Functional and nice and warm (with heating on) with an excellent hot shower and nice wooden wall beams.
The people who run the place are lovely and also offer nice breakfast options in the morning.
The only small note I have is that (despite best efforts and a very modern ventilation system in the bathroom) the bathroom is already moldy. I understand that it's a challenge to get under control given the climate.
I would stay again next time, and actually spend more than just one night here. There is so much you can explore here!

Doodoo the dog is the sweetest and felt like a home stay, super quiet and calm! Comfy beds with electric blanket and clean room.
Cons:
The shared toilets,sink shower are outside, which is not ideal in cold November.
First day the woman working was so helpful and accommodating, helped me wash clothes, made food and answered questions. The second day was a different woman, who would not use a translation app to answer questions which made things difficult. Would not make a hot drink in the cafe for me and wouldnāt explain why and wasnāt much help on transport questions because she wouldnāt translate her answers.
