"The room was spacious with a great view. The best part, however, was the service. They upgraded our room for free upon arrival and even gave us a complimentary kids' breakfast. I forgot something and they proactively contacted me to help mail it back. Thumbs up to Luly! I'll definitely be back if I get the chance!"

"Newly renovated, the rooms are exceptionally clean, and even the toilet seats are heated, which is a really nice touch. From the second-floor balcony, you can see three towers directly, and enjoying a drink on the terrace in the evening is absolutely delightful. The guesthouse's location is also excellent; turn right and a 3-minute walk takes you to a local wet market, which has a wonderful vibe. Turn left, and in about 5 minutes, you'll reach Ziyang Street. Food and drinks are all within easy reach. Plus, the guide the owner sent us was super helpful. Thumbs up! I'll definitely stay here again next time. When we checked in, they even gave each of us a cup of grass jelly drink, which was a very warm welcome."

"This hotel, touted as a must-stay for Shanghainese visiting Linhai, certainly lives up to its reputation! Or at least, that's what the book 'Linhai is Quite Interesting' claims. It says the building was originally a pawn shop, later transformed into a hotel named 'Yu Tong Feng' by a local owner with a passion for preservation. It remarkably survived the pandemic and has now become one of the two essential spots for Shanghainese tourists in Linhai – since I couldn't get a table at Xīnrongji (which has a 500 RMB tea fee!), staying here felt like a decent compromise. Ah, about the hotel's unique features – as soon as you enter the room, you'll notice them. The most impressive is definitely their bathtub. Just look at the size; it's practically big enough for three people, absolutely incredible! Backing onto Jinshan Mountain and facing the Lingjiang River, perhaps it allows guests to feel Linhai's complex relationship with water, even from their beds."

"This guesthouse truly exceeded my expectations! The location is incredibly convenient. The room was clean and tidy, beautifully decorated, and the bedding was so soft I slept like a baby. All the facilities were complete and easy to use. The owner was warm, thoughtful, and provided attentive service, always ready to help. "Although the facade isn't grand, it's not hard to find. The room was bright, and being on a high floor, offered expansive views directly facing Intime Department Store. It's also not far from the old town. Atour, as always, was clean and tidy, and the staff were enthusiastic and friendly."

"This is a hidden gem in a prime location near the city wall of Linhai. It’s a converted hutong down a side street and is well signposted. The receptionist didn’t speak English but we communicated via an app and she was so helpful. The room was spacious with satin sheets. The bathroom was clean and had hot water instantly for showering. "Cleanliness: The hotel was incredibly clean, I barely saw any dust and there were no strange odors. The soundproofing was also excellent; even with a full house, I couldn't hear any noise from the neighboring rooms. Facilities: They offer breakfast and a chess/card room. On the first floor, there's a vending machine and portable chargers available. The hotel is quite close to all the attractions, and the price is very reasonable, making it excellent value for money. The rooms are also very spacious. On the first floor, they have a blackboard recommending good local restaurants. Intime Department Store is just about a kilometer away, which is very convenient, and there are many convenience stores and tobacco shops nearby. Overall, my experience was fantastic!"

"The room was spacious, especially the ensuite bathroom. The breakfast buffet had a rich selection of Taizhou specialties. There's really no need to follow the trending online food posts; they don't really reflect the experience. It's best to just have breakfast at a local hotel. My two-night stay was very comfortable. The only problem was the pool, which was probably closed to the public, wasn't very pleasant. There were a lot of children learning to swim, and the pool itself was small, so it felt a bit crowded."
