Shanglin Hotels with Wifi

"Overall it’s one of the better hotels in central Shanglin overlooking a man-made lake with a walk / run track around the perimeter.  Close to night market and restaurants.  Only reason I don’t give an excellent rating is that our first assigned room was dirty (sticky floor) and had some damage.  We got moved across the hall and the second room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet.  Not sure why we were such a poor room when the hotel had plenty of rooms available.  Breakfast buffet was satisfactory - good bowl of noodle soup and fried eggs available."

"The environment is very quiet, the room is clean and tidy, and the bed is particularly comfortable to sleep. The waiter was very good and responded to questions in seconds. The facilities are complete, the hot water comes quickly, and even the hair dryer is just right. It’s really right for couples to travel here, come back next time! 💕💕"

"The environment and the view from the room were particularly beautiful. The staff were warm, friendly, and generous. We were offered a free afternoon tea on our check-in day. There was plenty of fruit left, and the manager even invited the staff to join us for a meal. You could sense the harmonious and joyful working atmosphere. It's a few kilometers from the county town, not too far. The winding mountain road is quite winding, but fortunately, there wasn't much traffic entering and exiting the mountain, so we didn't have any trouble with oncoming traffic. The restaurant served homely Cantonese cuisine, which was quite good. There's no elevator, but the manager offered to help carry our suitcases upstairs. The lattes and Americanos at the coffee shop downstairs were average, but the atmosphere was pleasant. There was no refrigerator in the room, so we had to rely on the coffee shop downstairs for refreshing drinks. The coffee shop might consider selling mung bean soup or herbal tea, as elderly and children can't handle coffee."

"This is an incredible place! We are so happy that we chose this hotel. Thank you very much to the hosts, they helped us in everything. We visited two tours: Lake Dasin and tea plantation. Very beautiful places. Awesome view, delicious breakfast. The best people work in this hotel. It's love for life."

"The hotel staff were incredibly friendly! Like a warm spring breeze. When I asked them for directions, they answered patiently. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, with excellent natural light and spacious windows."

"Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is a perfect getaway. The hotel is perched atop a hill, offering views reminiscent of a traditional Chinese landscape painting. The hotel facilities are tasteful, and the waitresses are attentive and polite. The afternoon tea was excellent. Since it wasn't a weekend when I visited, there were hardly any other guests – it was practically private! The toiletries and bedding in the room were of very high quality. Overall, this hotel is perfect for relaxation and unwinding. A stay of one or two days would be ideal. I'd love to come back in the summer to enjoy the beautiful infinity pool and escape the heat."

"On May 1st, all the hotel prices are relatively high, and they have encountered rainy days. I can't see the atmospheric scenery at all. The swimming pool has not been able to enter the water. Leave a little regret and have the next visit! , The hotel is still very good, it is easy to find after going up the mountain, and there are elevators on the 4th floor. Unlike some other hotels, they are climbing stairs. Praise the service. Several big sisters are very enthusiastic. They also sent a return when they left the store. The big sister's family planted it by itself, there are not many things, and I am thinking about it. Next time you have a chance to come back to the mountain to see the scenery!"

"Reception staff are very polite and helpful. However, the hotel maintenance need to improve - wall paints are peeling, room floor are peeling, water in bathroom doesn't drain of well and flows into the dry area of the toilet, moulds growing in between tiles, the room didn't smell fresh. And the hallway also didn't smell good, as well."

"The courtyard is cozy, charming, rustic, and natural, with a homey feel, reminiscent of the farmhouses of my childhood. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the food was delicious. The rooms and courtyard were clean and tidy. Despite the cool weather with temperatures in the single digits, the room was warm even without air conditioning, with plenty of hot water. The fresh mountain air ensured I slept soundly until morning. The scenery of Daming Mountain, halfway up the mountain, is expansive and grand, offering panoramic views of clusters of villages and the everyday life of the people. A morning walk up the asphalt road reveals different vistas. Overall, a fantastic experience, highly recommended."
