"The room was clean, and the front desk staff were polite. The overall facilities were decent, quite up to a local five-star standard. Since we visited during the Spring Festival, breakfast was delivered to our room as a set menu, and it was quite nutritious. However! It was incredibly hot in winter. The heating was set to an extremely high temperature, making it unbearable. Even the short-sleeved pajamas I specifically brought weren't enough. The central air conditioning also blew warm air. Due to the high ceilings and lack of screens, we couldn't open the windows very wide. I couldn't sleep all night. I tried to turn off the heating, but couldn't (as someone from the north, I believe every room should have its own heating control valve, but not here). In the end, with no other options, we had to leave the room door open, with one person staying awake while the other slept, then swapping... We basically got about two hours of sleep that night. Another room in our group had the exact same issue. I sincerely suggest the hotel adjusts its heating system. Even with central heating, as a hotel, you should at least allow each room to regulate its own temperature. Otherwise, it seriously impacts the guest experience and is incredibly frustrating!!!"

"The hotel is conveniently located very close to the high-speed train station. Although the decor is a bit older, you can tell it's a luxurious hotel with a classic charm. The bedding is very comfortable, and the room even has a bathtub. You can ask for disposable bath liners, which the kids loved using for a bath in the room. The restaurant downstairs was incredibly popular for dinner; we couldn't get a table just by walking in – you need to book a day in advance, so we missed out on eating there. However, the hotel breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious dishes!"

"The room was clean and tidy. All the staff at the front desk were very friendly and polite, always ready to help and even boiled hot water for us multiple times when we asked for it. "The room was OK and the overall environment was OK. A few small suggestions: 1. The hotel with an average price of more than 400 yuan did not have conditioner. My hair was dry after washing. 2. There were a few men at the door one morning. It was a little noisy. Our room was very close to the elevator. The noise made me sleep poorly. 3. The towels were a little yellow? "I rarely post reviews when booking rooms online, but this time I'm so upset that I just have to vent. I chose this hotel, which is considered quite high-end, while accompanying a friend to run a marathon in Ulanqab. The check-in process and everything else was fine. However, on the day of check-out, they were repainting ground markings outside the entrance. The white paint was still wet, but there were no signs and no staff managing the area. I accidentally stepped into the wet paint, slipped, and fell. My clothes, pants, and shoes were all ruined with a lot of white paint, and I twisted my ankle, which swelled up. I asked the front desk to call the manager, but they said the manager was in a meeting and there was no one in charge available to handle the situation. Because I was in a hurry to return to Beijing, I could only leave my contact information and leave the dirty clothes and shoes at the hotel front desk. All subsequent follow-ups have been initiated by me; they never proactively contacted me. They said they would clean the clothes and shoes and send them back, and I thought, if they can clean them, that's fine. However, when they arrived, the clothes and pants were barely acceptable, but both shoes were discolored. For a hotel of this caliber, such management and service are truly astonishing."

Great location just under 10-minute drive away from the Volcanoes Park North entrance. We arrived very late and the owner kept the restaurant open to make us some dinner. The breakfast was very tasty with several local specialties like meat buns, yoghurt pancakes, and their own free-range chicken eggs. It all appealed even to our Westerner taste buds! Our favorite breakfast of the trip! The property is not large, but it is very tidy and clean with a courtyard, lawn, paved walkways and lounging areas. The room was exceptionally clean as well - clean floors, clean bathroom and clean white sheets (which is not always a guarantee...). We had a spacious 2-storey loft which our kids enjoyed. Of note - the stairs are very steep to the loft. The beds were quite hard (something we have already come to expect in China), so we used one of the comforters as extra padding. While it was nearly +25 degrees outside, the air conditioning worked great. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful family stay at Hupeng Muge Resort in Inner Mongolia. We stayed in a ground-floor yurt with a big, comfortable bed, which was perfect for our family and made the stay feel both cozy and special. The kids especially loved the experience of staying in a yurt and being surrounded by the beautiful grassland scenery. One of their favorite memories, though, was meeting the adorable kittens in the restaurant! They were absolutely delighted and kept wanting to visit the restaurant just to see them again. Overall, it was a lovely family experience and a great opportunity to enjoy Inner Mongolia in a more relaxed and memorable way. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the comfortable accommodation, and the little moments that made the trip special for the whole family.

Specifically brought the kids here for Children's Day. The guesthouse environment is great, with a starry sky yurt and convenient parking. They even prepared snacks and drinks in the room. The surrounding area is beautiful and very close to the volcano attractions. The hotel also provided discount vouchers for hot spring tickets. Dining is convenient, and breakfast is excellent, with kids' meals available. On weekend evenings, they even arranged a bonfire and fireworks.

After looking at several guesthouses and yurts, we finally chose Xingchen Mujia, right next to Huahai Ranch. I was worried my child wouldn't be used to staying in a yurt, so I picked a grassland accommodation with standard rooms, and the environment was very clean. Also, I saw in the reviews that their roast lamb chops were good, and the set menu offered decent value for money on the grasslands. We tried the lamb chops, and they were indeed excellent; our whole family was practically fighting over them! The owners are also very welcoming and friendly. They thoughtfully advised us on what to look out for when dealing with local drivers. The male owner is very talkative and can share many stories about the grasslands. Just a few hundred meters walk from the accommodation, there's a grassland high point where you can watch the sunrise and sunset. We took many beautiful photos there.

The hotel's location is great, very close to the train station. They have a laundry room, a gym, and a small play area for kids. It's not huge, but you can play ping-pong there, which is fun! The lobby also has a piano you can play, which is a nice touch and good for passing the time. When we checked in, we were given two complimentary drinks and a bag of snacks. We munched on them, and they were really delicious! The room was clean, the bed was large, and the view from the window was lovely, with a distant tower visible. Too bad I didn't take any photos. The only issue I found was a slight smell in the shower area, possibly from the drain. When you flushed, it seemed to bring up an odor. But it's not a big deal; the room itself was still very good and clean. The downstairs restaurant was also tasty. Oh, and in the laundry room, there's a machine specifically for washing shoes! We'd been walking in the grasslands for days and our shoes were quite dirty. We thought about washing them but were worried they wouldn't dry in time, so we decided against it. We'll definitely try it next time we have the chance!

The owners are helpful and friendly ladies - knowing we did not have transport , so they arranged transport to-and fro Hohhot. We had free upgrade to double beds as it is low peak month. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable and it is adequately heated. They shared us tips how to tour the 黄花沟, send us to the entrance. We had fun with horse riding and had sumptuous dinner. The area has bonfire and anybody can participate in We didn’t manage to have a starry night due to cloudy weather. Will definitely recommend the stay to anybody we want a pleasant stay at the grassland!

Take four 80-year-olds to see the grassland, dare not let them live in yurts, choose the only better hotel. Sure enough, very good. Environment: It's the best on the grassland Hygiene: very good Facilities: Pillows are not good, everything else is good. The restaurant is too small and people can't eat more. Service: Generally, the restaurant cleans up the table and the big sister always urges people to leave. The elders are embarrassed to sit there and eat and be driven away.

The yurt-type B&B we stayed in did not have air conditioning, so we relied on the hot kang for heating at night. In a place like Ulanqab, it was too cold at night to take a shower. When we woke up in the morning, there was suddenly no water. It was said that the water supply system was broken. It was repaired, but we had other itineraries and couldn't wait for repairs. In the end, we had to spend money to buy mineral water to wash up. It was a very embarrassing accommodation experience.

The room was fairly comfortable and the service was really great. But we kept finding little beetles in our room which made me so itchy at night when sleeping. Also I don’t think they cleaned the floor because we found fake eyelashes and old contact lens on the bathroom floor which was very nasty. They have a washing machine available which was very convenient especially after spending a day in the volcanoes where it’s dusty and all our clothes were dirty. Breakfast was alright…typical inner Mongolian breakfast, nothing special. There’s actually no volcano view but it didn’t really matter much. We were on the second floor and it was nice to be up there. I wish they had better soundproofing windows because every night there’s fireworks and they were so loud and went on until midnight. With a young child, it was impossible to sleep early. Overall, the service was really great!
