Totnes Hotels with Wifi

"The restaurant staff were helpful and friendly and food was to a good standard. Unfortunately we booked the hotel for its spa/pool facilities to be informed the day before that the spa was out of action due to a fault. On arrival we were informed this included the pool, however should be open the next day. Again the night after our stay a note was put up to state it was out of order on both days. Whilst we understand faults can take place, it's disappointing to book a hotel for its facilities and for none to be available when travelling with a child and this resulted in an early exit due to lack of facilities."

"I am a frequent returning guest. The hotel is situated at bottom end of Totnes main street. It is a busy hotel and bar, serving food. The building is old with one central staircase leading to rooms. All the rooms I have occupied are very clean, decorated in a tasteful way and the beds are comfortable.. Teas are good quality Tea Pigs a small coffee machine is also provided, plus a bottle of water. I am a coeliac and vegetarian. Eating in other hotels is almost impossible,they simply do not cater for my dietary requirements,thankfully I am guaranteed a delicious breakfast here. One of the most important reasons for returning here is the customer service. The staff here are really approachable and friendly. Any issue you may have regarding your stay, they will do their best to help you resolve. T have stayed in other hotels etc if there aren't any vacancies here but from my experience if you like a relaxed friendly environment, lovely rooms, location Totnes as a base, then this is the place to come . It is also a short walk away from the most beautiful cinema I've ever been in, which is tucked away, along the main high street, My only wish is that more free parking was available . The hotel offers capacity for approx 6 cars at the rear of the hotel. There is plenty of paid parking in main street and nearby Morrisons."

"Overall a great stay, receptionists were welcoming, although a little bit more effort could have gone into directing me to the room as the grounds are so big I got a little lost. On entering the building where my room was located the carpet definitely needs to be upgraded, my room was nice and clean. It had a sink, and an ironing board and iron which I was very impressed with, it also had two wardrobes one with a kettle on top and one with hangers inside. The grounds are lovely, the garden is spectacular, it would be a perfect setting for a wedding. The staff in White Hart are lovely and the customer service provided by them was great. (Two males) thank you. On the Friday they had a live band (male / female) singing the old classics for VE Day that was great. The food was also nice. I would defo stay here again."

"Small room and bed. Toilet seat slid around and the whole pan rocked from side to side- loose screws. Roll holder fell off. Breakfast not served until 10:00. Clean and functional bedroom."

"Excellent stay. Breakfast is to die for and so are the evening meals. Staff very friendly. Beautiful location and very pretty beer garden by the side of the river Our room was clean but parts of it dated and windows and window seals could do with a paint but that didn't deter from our stay and if in the area would stay again."
