Kanazawa Hotels with Wifi

"This hotel was the best one throughout our trip. Having visited Kanazawa before, I knew all their hotels are basically on the same street, making the location extremely convenient for attractions and well-situated. So, I didn't choose the usual hotel but picked this one which seemed like a good value for money. And the check-in experience was absolutely perfect. It's been a while since I've experienced Japanese-style service, and their service here was quite good. Although it's not a traditional ryokan 'okami' service (where they unpack your bags), all their staff members were incredibly polite and enthusiastic. The hotel is directly opposite Oyama Shrine, and you can walk through to Gyokusen-en Garden. We spent about 20 minutes exploring it in the morning. However, one thing to note is that linen changes and bathroom cleaning are subject to an additional charge. This might be something to consider for longer stays, but since we were only there for two days, it wasn't an issue. We booked a room with some basic kitchen utensils, so we were able to buy ingredients from the supermarket and make sukiyaki, which helped us balance our diet during the trip. The hotel is also very close to Omicho Market, making it convenient to buy fresh seafood and other groceries. For those on a shorter trip, cooking might not be necessary. Also, the hotel is quite new, and the room wasn't small, so it was very comfortable."

"I didn't expect the Mitsui Garden Hotel Kanazawa to be so good! First off, the location is excellent; it's convenient for getting anywhere. The room itself felt stylish and comfortable, and the service was great. But the real highlight was the hotel breakfast – it's the best hotel breakfast I've ever had, absolutely delicious! If I ever have the chance to visit Kanazawa again, I'll definitely stay at the Mitsui Garden Hotel."

"This hotel is excellent! It's super close to JR Kanazawa Station, making it easy to walk to Omicho Market, the castle town area, and the Samurai District. Plus, public transport is conveniently nearby. The hotel staff were wonderful, and they even offered free drip coffee and access to a large public bath. If I visit Kanazawa again, I'd definitely choose this hotel."

"Amazing stay, it's located a short walk away from the main attractions of the city. The pod was clean equipped with a tv. I didn't even notice that there was a sauna and hot spring included in the price. The spa area was also spotless and everything for a pretty affordable price. Would definitely recommend."

"Room was a little dark due to a small window. Love the big desk for working on paper work. Complimentary coffee at the reception area was a nice touch. Convenient to walk to Kenrokuen and nearby attractions. Train station was an easy walk of no more than 15 minutes. Plenty of eateries around the hotel, no more than 5 minutes walk away. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Second stay in this hotel. So highly recommended!"

"The staff was very nice, very helpful and good English, spacious room, clean and great amenities, near Kanazawa Castle, traditional Omachi market, very close to Kanazawa Station (walking around 20-30 minutes)(public transport starting operation 7 30 in the morning) and near to public bath house (Onsen), will return to stay next time"

"This place is just a 5-6 minute walk to Kanazawa jr station and the bus terminal. The location is fantastic. There is all the amenities you need like coin laundry, and ice machine. The staff are wonderful and helped me to correctly fill out the forms to mail a package to my teacher staying in japan. This is my second stay with the hotel franchise in kanazawa- i stayed in their other hotel more in the town centre previously. They both smelled amazing. I don’t know what they use, but they have a specific scent that they make for their hotels. Apparently Kanazawa also has a tradition of incense and so they’ve incorporated a signature scent based on it. I wish I could buy it tbh- so Koko staff- if you see this, please make it an item you sell! The rooms are a good size, for Japan, and the bathtub in the room is MASSIVE. Sadly I dont have photos as I forgot to take them. They have a lovely outdoor on the top floor as well, where you can sip a drink and enjoy the view which i do have photos of."

"One of my favorite hotels during this trip! **Ambiance:** Even though it's an older hotel built in the last century, both the hard furnishings and soft decor are incredibly well-maintained. While the style might be a bit retro, it's tastefully done. The room was over 30 square meters, which is quite spacious for Japan. **Cleanliness:** Virtually spotless. **Facilities:** Didn't have time to visit the lounge or bar to enjoy the city views. I wish there was a gym, or at least I didn't see one available. **Breakfast:** Excellent! They offer both Japanese and buffet options. The buffet included sashimi and seafood rice bowls, freshly made omelets, and French toast. If you stay here, you absolutely *must* experience the breakfast. I had three full plates! **Service:** Outstanding. After check-in, we were rushing to go eat, and they took care of putting our luggage in the room for us. When getting a taxi, a doorman opened the door and assisted us. My time in Kanazawa was a bit short this trip, so I definitely need to stay at this Nikko hotel again."

"The room facilities are complete. It's not very big, but it's enough for a comfortable stay. The hotel's location is excellent; it's within walking distance of major attractions like Oyama Shrine, Kanazawa Castle Park, Kenrokuen Garden, Ishiura Shrine, and the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, which is very convenient."

"Very good location for being close to the train station, although it's about a 35-40 minute walk to places of interest. There's a 7-Eleven right next door, and a more complete supermarket and restaurants at the station. The rooms are huge for Japan, the beds are very comfortable, and the bathroom is standard for the country. The hotel has a well-equipped gym and a very nice reading room. They do not clean the rooms until after the fourth night. They are not flexible with check-in; for example, after our 4-night reservation, we rebooked another 4 nights, but they made us wait 4 hours between checking out of the first room and checking into the second room. I think they could have paid more attention to us, since we had booked with them again and on a regular basis, but they paid no attention at all."
