Our Newest 2023 Property on VRBO located just 12-15 mins from Elk Mountain Ski Resort, depending on snow! Enjoy almost 1700sf and your own 60’ of waterfront at Morcom's Fiddle Lake Lodge. Take off right from your own personal 30' dock and kayak, paddle board, or paddle boat! BBQ on your lakeside patio, read lakeside, take a nap or FISH THE DAY AWAY in the well-stocked PRIVATE Fiddle Lake. Catch large/small-mouth bass, northern pike, trout, walleye, catfish, black bullhead and more. So pack your bags and head to the lake for a dream This Lakefront A-frame has EVERYTHING!!! Complete with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, an Open Floor Plan and Amazing views from every window. Pet Friendly as well with a small fee per pet, with prior approval. The First Floor has 2 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms. Bedroom 1 has a Queen Bed and shares the Barn Door Full Bathroom with the Bunk Bed room. Half-bath located in Mud/Wet Room when you walk in the front door as well as a 70” Smart TV. The Upstairs Main Loft features a King Bed with a Full Bath with Glass enclosed shower, Rocking Chair to gaze out the window, and an office area complete with desk and Canon printer. There is a 70” Smart TV with all Apps you can log into your Steaming Apps as well. The Bunk Bed room has a 65” Smart TV with all streaming apps you can log into your accounts with.The Lodge sleeps 10-12 comfortably as the Living Room has 2 pull-out couches. You have multiple heating sources - Electric Baseboards, 2 Gas Fireplaces, Cadet Wall Heaters in each Bathroom, a Commercial Window AC/Heater unit in the Mud Room, and a Mini-Split System that Heats or Cools the WHOLE HOUSE! You will always be warm and cozy especially with the Coffee Bar located in the Mud Room.Fiddle Lake is a private, well-stocked quiet lake that allows power boats (no HP motor limit), fishing, swimming, canoeing, etc. If I seen 4-5 boats a day on the water in August, that was a lot. Very calm and quiet. We currently have snorkel setups, a Kayak with paddle, 2 Paddle Boards with paddles and a Paddle Boat and canoe at the property for your use. Also available are 8 fishing poles with lures, bobbers, bait bucket, hooks along with 8 life jackets, for kids too. We always recommend bringing your own life jackets sized to your kids. Unfortunately, there is NO public launch for your boat. There is a Firepit lakeside next to the 30' dock, so bring bundles of wood or you can buy FIREWOOD from locals who post signs all around. Many local farms so you can buy milk, eggs, vegetables, fruits all fresh and locally and organically grown. Your Lakeside Patio Deck Is the actual "Heart" of the home as this is where you will spend MOST of your time. Deck is complete with dining table, Gas Propane Grill all overlooking your private dock and 60 feet of lakefront! There is a sitting area by the lake made out of blue stone and also a firepit to sit by the fire lakeside at night. Save money and Do all your cooking at home in the Brand New FULL Kitchen and Appliances! House has 2 Refrigerators, one in Kitchen and one in the Mud/Wet Room. PARKING - Only room for 7 cars MAXIMUM. Lake properties always have issues with parking. Winter guests, you need a 4x4 vehicle on unpaved country roads. Enjoy Ice Fishing, SnowMobiling and World Class Skiing is just 8 minutes to Elk Mountain Ski Resort! You cannot beat the location of this cabin if you're looking for time on the slopes or some GREAT Ice Fishing. We do supply an ICE AUGER, 2 Tip-Ups, fishing poles, Ice Scoop, and Bait bucket. Lake is FULL of Northern Pike, Musky, Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass and tons of Perch and Crappie. Snowmobiling INFO - Go to NEPSNOTRAILS dot com.If you want to Ice Fish, but dont know how, we have local Fisherman that may come over for a fee.PA fishing license website is fishandboat dot com. Licenses are required as Game Warden is at the lake weekly to ensure it remains a pristine fishery. Believe us when we say - Morcom's Fiddle Lake Lodge is a can't miss for a lakefront getaway. We do allow Dogs for a fee per dog, and it goes without saying to pick up your dog's mess. If you are going to be out of the property and Dogs left alone, we would want Dogs to be crated. Inquire before booking if you have any questions.This property does not have an EV charging station. Charging of EVs is not allowed without prior approval and charging fee’s. 4x4 vehicles are a must in Winter!!Typical minimum night stay is 5, but please let us know if you have a shorter stay as we have cancellations and can accommodate shorter stays. Located on a country dirt road, near the D&H Rail-Trail, nestled on 4 acres among pines & hardwoods, you truly feel like you're secluded in your own world. The house has a cozy, farmhouse feel with all the modern comforts of a home away from home & is also fun for kids! It sleeps 7 plus a sofa, queen sleeper sofa, & room for air mattresses too. There is a large covered back deck, backyard fire pit, BBQ Grill, plus a kitchen equipped with all you need for entertaining--just add food & drink! We don't mind large groups but do not allow parties. Kids will find toys, books, movies & games indoors and fun outdoor stuff too! It is a short walk/bike ride to the D&H Rail-Trail for outdoor activity. We have a small pond within walking distance that you are welcome to explore, picnic, swim, fish, rowboat. All that you need is in the pond cottage: life jackets, fishing poles, tackle box, rowboat/oars.
