The living room is a comfortable space that opens into a fully furnished kitchen that is great for small gatherings and also children. Childproof oven knobs and cabinet locks are available, and a majority of electrical outlets are childproof. The first bedroom has a king bed, and the second bedroom has a twin-over-full bunk bed that is suited for both children or adults, and includes books and toys for children. Sit outside on the porch and you might catch a glimpse of wildlife. The space is great for small gatherings of friends, or families visiting Ohio University. The bedrooms are each furnished with a king size bed. Each bedroom has access to a personal porch. To access the bedrooms guests must walk up steep-ish stairs. We offer wifi internet and a smart TV for entertainment, bluetooth speaker, preloaded super Nintendo also provided. The cabin has a washer and dryer, a pretty well equipped kitchen and a 3 piece bathroom with shower. The yard is great for star gazing and has a firepit, wood provided upon request. WE ARE NOT A BUG FREE ENVIRONMENT. We clean like crazy and spray regularly but the cabin has been in the woods for 30 plus years. Nice and quiet 2-bedroom A-frame cabin available to rent nightly or weekly. Ideal for a weekend getaway in the woods, yet close enough to Athens for anyone visiting our local events. The cabin has 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom and 2 porches with serene, country views. Both bedrooms are upstairs, and the bathroom is downstairs. Located only 5 miles from East State St the cabin is easy to access after the short drive. The two bedrooms are each furnished with a king sized bed. For entertainment the cabin comes equipped with wifi internet,satellite television, DVD player, blue-tooth music player. Amenities include washer/dryer, full kitchen with coffee station, fire pit in private backyard for evening enjoyment. We would also like to note that the stairs to get to bedrooms are steep, we can furnish the livingroom as a bedroom no problem.
