Our Cub cabin will not disappoint if you are needing some time away from your busy lifestyle. It is nestled in the Ouachita Mountains and offers quiet solitude for refreshing your mind and spirit. We also offer a Roku TV to enjoy & wifi (when wifi is working from company), if not you may use your personal hotspot once ready to come indoors.Our Cub cabin is off the main drag but close enough to town if you should need supplies. It is well stocked with the essentials for cooking as well with plenty of linens. There is plenty to do within minutes. There are hiking and biking trails nearby and plenty of fishing and water activities in the Ouachita area.The Lovit trail is just a few miles from the cabin. It heads at beautiful Lake Ouachita and follows the lake for a beautiful hike and is great for mountain biking too! You can launch your boat within minutes at Twin Creeks boat ramp. We have plenty of parking at Bear Den Cub Cabin, along with a place to plug up your boat to charge your batteries! There is a great fishing pier at the launch site along with a place to swim. You can visit one of the crystal mines in the area where you can dig your own crystals and keep whatever you find. Hot Springs is east of the cabin about 30 minutes. Check out Bath House Row down town. If you are in to horse racing, Oaklawn Park is a big attraction in Hot Springs. (Seasonal) If you are wanting solitude, simple stay at the cabin where you can sit around the fire pit after you have grilled on the charcoal grill. The cabin offers some great star gazing opportunities with a big open sky at night! There is something to do for everyone. Please note: No pets allowed. There is also a swimming area with many picnic tables. Our Lodge at Twin Creek is next to Ouachita Shores, Shangri-La and Mt Harbor Resorts. There are many things to do in our area. We have hiking, digging for crystals in the crystal capital of the world. On Satuarday nights on the town square in Mt Ida, there is live music. Our Lodge even has camping chairs you can take to the concert. We have it all. Hot Springs is just 30 minutes down the road. Hot Springs has everything touristy. Go Carts, Laser Tag, Bumper Boats, Duck Tours, Mini Golf, the Hysterical....excuse me, the Historical District where you can learn about gangsters during Prohibition gracing all of our illegal gambling and drinking establishments.
