With some of the best downtown shops in the area & some great coffee shops and bars, it is sure to give you plenty to do, regardless of the weather. On Lake Sallie you can grab a bite to eat at the world famous Hotel Shoreham, or travel just a few miles to restaurants like Longbridge, Zorbaz, Bleachers, Brygge Taps & Tastes, Hub 41, Lakeside Tavern, The Fireside, & Spitfire Bar & Grill.Boating - When you spend your vacation surrounded by water, it only makes sense that you’ll feel like boating! (boat tram open weekends from Memorial Day to Labor Day)Fishing - Fishing is great throughout the year, so if you do bring your fishing rig, it won’t take you long to find multi-species fishing opportunities. (walleyes, panfish, bass, pike, muskies) You can tie up for the day on Lake Sallie orthere are several other lakes within minutes which offer a similar variety of multi-species fishing. (Rental of a fishing pontoon or guided fishing trips are also available)Golfing - Whether you bring clubs for some serious golf or you just want to play a casual round, you have several golf options! Just around the corner, only a short half-mile away, you have the DL Country Club 18-hole course or their executive course, Lakeview which is their shorter 18-hole course. There are also a variety of other golf courses within a 15-20 minute drive. (Wildflower, Fair Hills, Forest Hills) Biking - Having bikes onsite is nice because you can ride straight from the cabin on paved roads & find your way into town or discover many of the winding county roads that take you through Becker County.
