Our property spans 4.5 acres of forest on Mount Desert Island. It is very, very private and you won`t see a soul from your front deck or windows. Your suite features a large stone fireplace with a wood stove and leather sofa, wood beamed ceilings, and a 280 square foot country kitchen. It also has a separate TV area with a comfy sectional sofa and an extra large flat screen TV.Relax on the spacious 28 ft. deck with a stunning, unobstructed view of Ripple Pond with rolling wooded hills and multiple wildlife including bald eagles, deer, egrets, falcons, hawks, ducks, beaver, frogs, loons, wild turkeys, geese, and even the occasional sea otter. Sit by the fire pit after a long day of hiking Acadia National Park; which offers over 100 miles of nature trails with breathtaking views, or after touring one of the many quaint towns on Mount Desert Island.Our location is just 10 minutes to Southwest Harbor and 15 minutes to Bar Harbor, the popular tourist destination on the edge of the sea with many quaint shops and restaurants to explore.
