Relax in one of 2 bedrooms on the main level or choose one of the cozy bedrooms downstairs. There is plenty of room to be all together or find your own little nook to read, listen to music or unwind.This lakehome is BIG on lake hospitality conveniently located close to Ottertail City, Battle Lake, Perham, Fergus Falls each with great little shops, coffee and ice cream spots and restaurants. Zorbaz on the Lake and Beach Bums with live music throughout the summer are popular spots on Ottertail Lake. Golfing at Balmoral or Thumper Pond is another fun activity-both within a 10 minute drive. Easy access off Highway 78 and within a short driving distance to two State Parks-Glendalough and Maplewood-that offer hiking, walking and biking trails. Also near the Ottertail River-known for its lazy afternoon tubing.There is an optional electric boat lift (max capacity 3100 lbs) for those who choose to bring their own boat. Public boat launch is only minutes away. Newly constructed (2022) Cabin. Four bedrooms, 2 bath. Nestled just off of Otter Tail Lake, with water access through the channel to the lake. Just blocks from the public access, drop your boat and leave it parked safely at the large dock in front of the cabin. The channel protects your boat from the wind and waves without having to pull it off the lake each time you want to use it. Enjoy fishing off of the dock, as well as cruising up and down the channel. Just hop in your boat and scoot on out into premier Otter Tail Lake. There is plenty of parking room for vehicles, snowmobiles and trailers. The cabin features an open design kitchen and dining room. New kitchen appliances. Reverse osmosis installed for drinking water. Large dining table, and a living room area with a fire place and a 70" big screen TV. Enjoy the sunroom, or sit out around the campfire. Gas grill provided. About the Area:Located only a short distance from swimming areas, or take the boat out on the lake and anchor for a swim. Canoe/kayak/paddleboard rentals are available in the area (we do not supply these but they can be rented from nearby establishments). Enjoy fine dining, a burger or a pizza just a few miles down the road. There is a local grocery store, a Dollar General, as well as a fresh produce farm in Ottertail. Is shopping your thing? Enjoy multiple craft stores right in Ottertail, as well as in Perham. Head over to Thumper Pond Resort and enjoy the golf course and water park. Here on business? You can utilize their conference center as well. There are two other 18 hole golf courses within 15 miles. (Balmoral and Lakeside Golf Courses). Plus two 9 hole courses (Balmoral North and Oakwood).
