Guests also have access to a washer and dryer.Windows overlook the beautiful Michigamme River where wildlife, such as eagles, hawks, geese, otters, beaver, groundhogs, chipmunks, squirrels, many species of birds, fox, deer, turkeys, and even a moose have been seen. There are also fish in the river - muskie, bass, rock bass and trout to name a few. The Iron Ore Trailhead is an easy 3 miles North, where you can walk, bike, ride your ATV or snowmobile all the way to Marquette.Frequently Asked Questions:A/C: There is a wall unit in the living room, which keeps the house cool.ATVs/Snowmobiles: Yes, bring them! It is Jubilee Foods, on the north side of US-41 in Ishpeming. If you are driving in from Wisconsin/Chicago, the last large grocery store before Republic is in Iron Mountain.Towels: Yes, we provide bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, dish towels and dishcloths.
