Twenty miles to Augusta, Farmington or Waterville and Colby College with its renowned free Art Museum and brand new Performing Arts Center. Cedar Cottage is perfect for a peaceful family getaway, a graduation celebration, a gathering of friends, or just some quiet time in the woods. Guests enjoy walking down to the lake to swim, listening for loons and stargazing. You will have a canoe, two kayaks and two paddle boards to get you out on the water, and the nearby Kennebec Highland Trails are highly recommended. Kids enjoy the sandy beach, playground and weed free swimming areas with swim platforms and docks. We supply beach toys, books, Legos, games and movies for all ages!No WiFi: Embrace the Maine Woods without wi-fi; however, should you need to stay connected, cell phone reception is excellent (tech savvy guests have used wi-fi hotspots with a Roku to stream successfully).
