We had such a wonderful stay at DAWA Brickhouse for Aber’s first trip to Ipoh, and it was honestly one of the most pet-friendly places we’ve stayed at. 🐾 The whole place has such a beautiful nature vibe, with lots of greenery, a peaceful atmosphere, and even a mini zoo with deer and spider monkeys. Aber absolutely loved exploring the surroundings and watching the animals nearby. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean. The bed was quite high, so if you’re travelling with smaller pets, I’d recommend bringing a ramp to make it easier for them. The bathroom was also surprisingly huge, which was a lovely bonus. What really made our stay special was the amazing hospitality. A big thank you to Victor, the owner, for being so accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. We also want to give a special shoutout to Kak Jiwa, who was always around and ready to help whenever we needed anything. We had a small mishap where we needed to wash Aber’s blankets during our stay, and they immediately helped us with detergent and showed us where the washing machine was. We were able to wash and dry everything before our journey back to KL, which made such a big difference. The facilities were very convenient too. The shared kitchen had everything we needed — fridge, microwave, oven, toaster, cutlery, plates, and even ice cubes. There’s also Wi-Fi available, so you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location was great as well, with many popular Ipoh food spots and attractions only around 10–15 minutes away. Thank you DAWA Brickhouse for welcoming both humans and furry family members so warmly. We had such a memorable stay and will definitely be coming back again.
