I chose to stay at Weil Hotel Ipoh, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location is excellent — directly connected to Ipoh Parade shopping mall and close to many popular local food spots. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a nice city view. The staff service was generally standard; however, I noticed there were no Chinese or Malay-speaking staff. This might cause some difficulties for guests from mainland China or other nationalities who do not speak English, especially during check-in. Breakfast selection was quite limited, and the restaurant area was rather small. I’m not sure why the hotel has two restaurants (including a Chinese halal restaurant on the 1st floor) but doesn’t allow guests to choose between them. If the hotel required an extra payment for the alternative option, I believe most guests would be fine with it. The breakfast area also lacked proper crowd control — the waiting area was small and queues could get long. At one point, we accidentally blocked the cashier counter and were told not to queue there, which was one of the less pleasant experiences. Parking is complimentary with validation, but it’s located on Level 4 and above. Fortunately, we arrived during a non-peak period; otherwise, we might have had to park on Level 5 or 6. The open-air parking on the ground floor requires payment, which leaves hotel guests with limited choices. The rooftop infinity pool is stunning, especially during sunset. The nearby toilets were clean, which is a plus for guests who enjoy swimming. However, I did notice the pool water was not as clear as what I would expect from other nearby 4- or 5-star hotels. In summary, for the same amount of money spent, there are other hotels in Ipoh that may offer a better overall experience. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 我选择入住 怡保 Weil 酒店，整体体验还算不错。酒店位置非常优越 —— 直接连通 Ipoh Parade 购物商场，周围也有许多著名的本地美食。房间宽敞、干净又舒适，还能欣赏到城市景观。 员工的服务整体中规中矩，但我注意到没有会讲中文或马来语的职员。这对来自中国大陆或其他不懂英语的旅客来说，在办理入住时可能会带来一些不便。 早餐选择相对有限，餐厅空间也较小。我不太明白为什么酒店有两间餐厅（包括一楼的清真中餐厅），却不允许住客自由选择。如果需要额外付费，我相信大多数客人都能接受。另外，早餐区的管理有待加强——等候区太小，排队时间较长。我们有一次不小心挡住了收银台，被员工提醒不能在那里排队，这算是一次比较不愉快的经历。 停车方面，酒店提供免费停车（需验证），但车位位于四楼以上。幸运的是我们在非高峰期到达，否则可能要停到五楼或六楼。地面露天停车场需要额外付费，这让住客的选择较为有限。 酒店的屋顶无边际泳池非常漂亮，尤其是日落时分的景色令人惊艳。旁边的洗手间也保持干净，这是加分项。不过我发现泳池的水质没有附近其他四、五星级酒店那么清澈。 总体而言，以相同的花费来看，怡保还有一些酒店在整体体验上可能会更好一些。
