Beit al Fannan is best known as a spring or winter retreat, but I visited in July and still found it magical. While it was nearly 40°C outside during the day, indoors the space was cool, calm, with views that could stop you in your tracks. By evening, we were sitting outside surrounded by Pella’s quiet hills; and to my surprise, it even got chilly enough for a shawl!

Had a wonderful time with the family staying at a fabulous hand built cozy house that was built by the artist himself enjoying the quietness of the beautiful surrounding fields and overlooking the archeological site of Pella. Hamad (Abu Ammar) and Um Ammar were great hosts. Loved the local breakfasts and the dinners. We also had a great time shepherding with Ayman. What an experience! Thank you.

A hidden gem in Jordan. The house is absolutely beautiful. To get the full experience I would recommend booking the villa. The breakfast served by Um Ammar was delicious. I particularly loved the art supplies found in every corner of the house.

What an amazing opportunity to sleep in such a special place! I discovered it only on my third visit to Jordan…and what a surprise! The view from the terrace is outstanding and it is so relaxing to sit there. The house is really well equipped and full of taste and colors. We ordered dinner, which was delivered to us perfectly in time and it was so tasty and varied! Breakfast the next morning on the terrace was a real treat for all senses. We also enjoyed the cheesemaking activity for a taste of village life. Thank you for an unforgettable experience, I would love to visit again!

We spent a very relaxing and interesting weekend with my son. The place has a special welcoming atmosphere, very quite , with wonderful views. Breakfast: one of the best in the country. We prepared the dinner and enjoy the fresh of the evening outside. It is a good base to visit Pella archeological site, Jordan valley. We also learn how to prepare cheese. Only thing to be improved: shower.

Amazing atmosphere, and .. really great hosts. It was a unique experience. The venue is tastefully decorated, well equipped, and has a great location. Hiking, although a bit tough, was very interesting. We enjoyed the traditional rich and generous breakfast, which Um Ammar prepared with care and love.

From the first moment, even before we reached the Beit al Fannan, we felt so welcomed and well taken care of. The communication with the hosts was amazing and truly helpful and extremely understanding. The house itself is stunning inside out. There are so many spaces within the space to discover, it truly felt like arriving home to a comfortable, warm place. The experiences we had with the locals through the activities, were eye-opening and absolutely beautiful. From service to food to hospitality to beauty, everything and more was provided. It is a special place which we had the privilege to visit and if we get the chance to do so again, we wouldn’t blink twice ;) Thank you so much for having us!

The place is quiet, the people are friendly, and the rooms are comfy. We loved the vibes as its super peaceful and we had a great time ! We would recommend ! I look forward to returning to this warm place in the future.
