Crosby Lofts

Came for a class reunion. Loved the upper deck and that the restaurant was so accommodating for taking food there. Room was super clean and everything worked. Even though the alley was being reconstructed, the directions (and map) from Crosby Lofts to get in and out of parking were most helpful.

Quiet, classy space. No noise from restaurant below. Everything in excellent condition. The Red Shed a huge bonus! Would definitely stay again.

We recently stayed at The Lofts in Crosby, MN. What you see on the Internet is what you get - wonderfully decorated large rooms, nice comfy beds, great bath w/ rain shower head, right on the main street (but its a charming cute town, no excessive noise, etc.) - lots of great restaurants and shops literally to the left or right of it - good instructions on check-in - overall fantastic. We’ve stayed before and it is our “go-to” for that area! Love it!

Great room, location, bed, shower and atmosphere. Interior room #13 was very quiet and the shower was amazing after a day on the trails. Comfortable king bed and the room was very clean. The bike storage room with lockers is super cool; we (and our bikes) felt very secure during our 2-night stay. Easy access to most of the trails. Never used our car once we parked it in our designated space behind the building. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Our recent stay at Crosby Lofts was, as with previous stays, a wonderful experience. Crosby is in the process of a resurgence. Rightly proud of its contribution to the history of 20th century Iron Range mining in Minnesota, in this century those pit mines have become deep clearwater lakes, and the slag heaps have become tree-covered mini-mountains. As a result, the Crosby area has become a modern-day attraction for off-road bicycling, kayaking, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. Oh! And yes, lake fishing abounds. Crosby Lofts are housed in two early 20th century brick buildings that have been fully restored. The interiors of the buildings have been completely re-imagined into a modern hotel. In each of our stays there, and we’ve been in different rooms each time, the space was clean, modern, and nicely appointed in the motif of the Great North. It is clear that the owners take pride in what they are offering. The internet-driven reservation and check-in approach that management uses are easy and seamless. There is no concierge or other personnel on site but, in the unlikely event that they are needed, reaching the owners is one quick phone call away. The entry-code-as-room-key concept works perfectly with no physical keys or cards to keep track of and carry around. Gotta love that! Located in downtown Crosby, plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops are within a block or two. The ever-expanding offerings in food, beverage, and retail reflects the growth happening there. We highly recommend Crosby Lofts to anyone coming to town for the great biking, hiking, and fishing environment that is modern day north central Minnesota.

Rooms were comfy, warm, and clean. Great bathroom, nice shower. A little bit of traffic noise in the morning--not a problem for me but if you're sensitive to that kind of thing you may want a room on the back side of the building. We didn't use the bike room (we rented our bikes), but it looks awesome for those bringing their own bikes. Crosby is a fun town for a biking getaway and the Lofts make a great home base.
