Ristorante Albergo Corona

I am from Novi and after a long time I was convinced to try the Corona restaurant with friends, having had a couple of recent positive reviews from some acquaintances. I booked the day before asking for a table in the garden, and was told that there was no problem as in August their “formula” only and exclusively included tables in the garden. But when we arrived a waiter showed us a table on the veranda. Except that we had asked for a table in the garden, we were offered a large oval table already set for 8 people (we gave up because we didn’t want to “waste” a table of that size). Alternatively, we were shown a small table still to be set near a hedge. In the end we sat on the veranda. After a while a waitress came and told us that that evening they only had a fixed menu. Absolutely nothing had been said about the formula on the phone when booking. We were immediately told that changes could not be made. The menu consisted of an appetizer, a second course, a dessert and a bottle of wine. Too bad that the dishes were all fish and this could have created problems for those who do not like fish or even worse for those who are allergic or intolerant. Moral of the story: the final price was absolutely not in line with the service, quality and choice of dishes (in reality there was no choice?) and location. There will not be a second time!
