Aloft Istanbul Karakoy

The hotel's location is excellent. It's a relatively short downhill walk from Karakoy Metro Station (Line 2). Most of our travel needs were covered by trams and buses. The hotel is very close to Galata Tower, and there are many small restaurants nearby favored by locals. From our room, we could see the mosques and bridges of the Old City. While waiting to check-in, the hotel offered us a local specialty drink, sahlep. Our room was clean and tidy, and housekeeping was very prompt. The front desk staff, Setit Taha, was incredibly helpful, showing us the bus routes. Yusuf also assisted us by checking if the mosques were open for visits during Ramadan. These gestures made our trip a wonderful memory. Thank you very much!

Under the Marriott brand, the room is very new, having just opened four months ago. The staff can speak English, which is sufficient for basic communication; if not, translation tools can be used. Their service attitude is excellent. They have rooms with pillars, which I personally don't prefer, but they were happy to accommodate my request for a change. It's a 15-minute walk from Karaköy Pier, and the sea view rooms offer views of the bridge and the nearby mosque. Overall, it's pretty good and I recommend it.

Overall, it's pretty good! The hotel is a short walk from the subway station, though there's a bit of an uphill slope. Getting to the airport is quick with just two subway transfers. The hygiene and service were excellent. My friend and I were mistaken for a couple, and they even gave us cookies!

The front desk staff, Seyit Taha, was really lovely! My stay at the hotel was very pleasant, and the location is excellent – super convenient for getting to the beach. A nice detail was that the room offered both 220V and USB-C outlets, so even if you forget an adapter, you're covered. There's also an ice bar at the front desk where you can grab ice whenever you need it. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We stayed at the Aloft Istanbul Karakoy from February 15th to 20th, 2026, and absolutely loved it! We checked into a deluxe room with a balcony and Bosphorus view, and it was simply stunning. The view from the window added a special charm to our entire vacation. The room impressed us from the first minute: everything was clean, new, tastefully decorated, and equipped with the latest technology. We were particularly pleased with the perfect shower – modern, convenient, with excellent water pressure. Housekeeping was done daily, discreetly and meticulously. I especially want to highlight the bed – it was truly "wow"! The mattress and pillows were very comfortable: after long walks around the city, sleep was deep and restorative. The bed linen was clean, fresh, and even had a pleasant scent – these small details create a special feeling of coziness. An unexpected and very pleasant bonus was the hair conditioner in the room – a small detail, but very important for a woman: no need to bring extra bottles. Overall, we travel a lot and have stayed in many different hotels, but Aloft Istanbul Karakoy left the warmest and most pleasant impressions. I definitely recommend this hotel – it's perfect for a comfortable stay in Istanbul!

A wonderful hotel, very clean and well-maintained. The room was cleaned and towels were changed every day. I'm so glad we found this hotel!
