We spent three nights at this beautifully renovated historic building. We were looking for a place of quiet luxury while still wanting to stay connected to local people, food, and history. All our expectations were exceeded—we were deeply impressed by the beauty and quality of the property, as well as by the friendliness and attentiveness of the hotel’s guardians. From the moment of our arrival, when we were personally greeted on the street, to the very end, when the owner himself placed our luggage in the car, we felt truly valued and well cared for. On the first day, the staff took note of our food allergies, and from then on we never had to remind them again. We especially enjoyed the peaceful early-morning swims (just a few steps from our room), the wonderfully rich breakfast (without the hassle of a buffet), and the many picturesque corners of the building perfect for quiet reading. We were also delighted by the variety of watersport equipment available free of charge—this encouraged us to try new things we wouldn’t normally have considered. A few words about the surrounding town, Limeni: we visited in the last week of August, when it was still quite crowded, and there was some noise from the beach, with swimmers picnicking near the lower hotel terrace where some sunbeds are located. Yet inside Hotel Pirgos Mavromichali we felt wonderfully secluded from the crowds, with our own sunbeds and gated access to the beach. The guardians take it very seriously that only guests may enter the property—even at dinner time, when the restaurant offers a perfect sunset view. The staff also went out of their way to help us navigate the tricky parking situation, allowing us to relax completely. We very much hope to return to Pirgos Mavromichali, as we have not found another place in Greece at this price level that combines luxury, service, history, and quality so seamlessly.

A place to relax with the sea directly below. The rooms were very clean, the bed and pillows super comfortable and the staff lovely. Breakfast was excellent. In fact lunch and dinner also excellent and so lovely to be able to eat with such a view. The food is high quality and always super fresh. In fact compared to the few tavernas close by we mostly ate in the hotel. There was no comparison to the quality served in the hotel. I particularly like the rules of no children and no pets. As I said ; it was a super relaxing week spent with my auntie.

If you're searching for a serene getaway that blends charm, elegance, and breathtaking coastal views, look no further than this Boutique Hotel in Limeni. This hidden gem offers an unforgettable experience, where every detail has been thoughtfully curated to create a truly enchanting atmosphere. Upon arrival, I was immediately captivated by the exquisite hotel decoration that reflects both local culture and artistic finesse. The choice of special ceramic dishes sourced from a small studio in Athens adds a personal touch to every meal, elevating the dining experience to something extraordinary. Each piece is a conversation starter, showcasing the artistry and craftsmanship of Greek artisans. As I explored the hotel, it became clear that no detail was overlooked. The hotel's cleanliness is standout; every corner sparkles, creating a welcoming atmosphere . The room decoration struck a perfect balance between modern comforts and traditional aesthetics. Soft, calming colors, carefully chosen furnishings, and local art adorn every space, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. It felt like stepping into a serene sanctuary where relaxation was effortless. The public areas of the hotel are equally impressive, featuring cozy sitting viewing the stunning beach. Whether sipping a morning coffee or enjoying a dinner, the picturesque scenery is an ever-present backdrop that enhances every moment. One of the highlights of our stay was the direct access to the beach. The private pathway leading down to the turquoise waters made it easy to enjoy sun-soaked days by the sea. The hotel staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, especially the owner, ensuring that every guest felt welcomed and pampered. Their genuine hospitality made us feel at home, as if I were a part of their family.

I’m not sure how anyone could have had a bad experience at this hotel. It is in the most beautiful location, the food and design are wonderful and staff were warm and friendly. The rooms are a bit small as in most historic properties, but who would want to stay in the room with that gorgeous water view outside? The swimming - with sea turtles- was amazing!

I think this is an overestimated boutique hotel. The room we stayed was extremely small and without any decoration or convinience. The owner is not really polite allthough he tries to appear civilized . The only advantage hotel has is the location just in front of the sea where people and tourists swimm.Nevertheless beach is not private so anyone can choose one of the many other hotels iat this area, cheaper hotels and swim at the same place and sea.If I visit this nice touristic place again i will never stay at this hotel again

The beautifully restored 18th century Mani tower hotel forms part of the stark tiny village of Limeni made of blinding white stone surrounded by a crystal clear turquoise sea. A swim straight from our comfy minimalist room, via easily accessible steps into the cold May waters, is a definite Must! On the terrace, generous delicious breakfasts and exquisite dinners are served by the attentive staff. Our host and owner is charming and warm. With only a few rooms, a stay at Pyrgos Mavromichali, feels both private and personal. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Hotel Pirgos Mavromichali surpassed all my expectations, creating an unforgettable experience. The impeccable service, luxurious rooms, and exquisite restaurant made me feel like royalty. The breathtaking views from the room added an extra touch of magic. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking sheer happiness and bliss. It's a true paradise where every detail is meticulously taken care of . A place where the times stops and you feel rejuvenated and renewed. We will be back, small paradise on earth. Special thank you to Saki, the owner for his amazing level of hospitality.

A converted family tower home in Limeni seaside village provides accommodations, food and ambiance. Once inside the stone fortress the busy outside world disappears. The sound of the sea lapping up on the rocks make the sometimes busyness of the village disappear. All of the nine room looks out to the water and our room ( number 9) was right above the rocks. The weather was changeable but we managed to eat most meals on the spacious and shaded terrace overlooking the sea. The (included) breakfast selections: eggs cooked 4 different ways, Greek yoghurt with honey and walnuts, fresh fruit, vegetables, French toast, homemade breads and jam, fresh squeezed OJ, vegetables, cheeses, plus coffee anyway you like it…I could go on. Afternoon and evening meals are only for hotel guests should they choose to eat there. Absolutely fresh fish, local vegetables, traditional Greek dishes are on the menu. The furnishings were simple and elegant. Flowering plants and trees against the stone walls made the inner courtyard feel like a garden. The rooms had all the modern conveniences one wants. Design, art, linen, furniture are all local or Greek made. The toiletries were by Korres, a Greek natural skin care company. The owner is a terrific host and we felt like we were guests in his family home, which we were!
