All the staff we met were very nice and at least tried to help - some newness showed as not everyone was fully trained or new answers to fairly basic questions. We knew the resort was still under construction and that there would be noise from time to time but what we didnt expect was routine dynamite explosions directly across the street from our room. Thankfully that ended early in the day so didnt disrupt sleep. The most important letdown was NO WHERE on the website or any communication we received did they inform us that the pool and hot tub are closed! The sad thing is the only reason we were given was its due to a railing needing repaired - all the pool chairs and everything are set up and ready to go. Publish this on your website so people are aware!!

Jonathan is the BEST server. Gives amazing recommendations and seriously gave us the best experience here. We trusted every recommendation and it went so above and beyond what we were hoping for. Food was delicious and thoughtfully crafted. My favorite restaurant ever.

So far our stay has been awesome and we are already talking about coming back! Rooms are amazing. Property is beautiful, and the food has been so great. Joy served us for breakfast and there has been excellent service here from all staff.

Wonderful experience. Staff was exceptionally friendly, place is new and construction booming. Golf course was wonderful and they plan to build three more courses. This place will be a golf destination in the next 3-5 years so better come sooner than later before it becomes better known and rates increase. Overall exceptional experience for all four couples in our group.

Golf was great, but the resort locked amenities that normally give you a luxury resort experience. The pool was almost an afterthought. With all the beautiful lava rock around you think they would have built a nice waterfall in the pool. instead, the pool was very boring. There were no drinks allowed at the pool. The spa wasn't open when we were there. They said you could book at their sister Resort down the road. However, there were no Spa appointments available for the entire week... big fail on that one. You are not allowed to bring drinks to the room. Also, there was no room service at all. The Basalt restaurant was ridiculously overpriced and nothing we ordered was all that special. The earliest any of the bar / restaurants opened was 3:00 p.m. If you finished your round by 1:00 p.m. there was nowhere to have drinks or hang out. The resort is still under construction, so there's not yet shopping or other amenities nearby...those are several years away. Utah is also very strict with alcohol laws. You can't order someone to drink unless they're present. Also, you can't have more than two drinks without ordering food. So, golf = A, resort = D

While the resort is opened, it shouldn't be. The restaurants are a joke. Even though the information in the room says one of the restaurants serves food, don't believe it. It's a bar and only snacks are available. And don't even think about room service--there is none. Getting breakfast at 6:00 am is impossible--nothing is opened. The rooms are ok, but whoever designed the bathroom obviously doesn't share one with anyone. The sink towel bar is attached smack dab in front of the sink so you're banging into it when you're using the sink. And it's a vessel sink--not my favorite for practical purposes. The shower is nice, but there is a frosted glass panel in it that when the lights are on shines into the room. If there are 2 people, the one sleeping will have light shining on them. There is a Sub Zero fridge in the room which is nice. It's pretty big and empty so you can bring stuff and keep it cold. The workout facility is very well laid out and had a ton of equipment. Probably one of the highlights of the resort. The spa wasn't opened yet, but they said it would be in June 2025. And I have never been to any hotel/resort anywhere in the world that didn't have a gift shop. The staff was accommodating and housekeeping did anything I asked. Would I go back or recommend the property to anyone--no.

Resort Design is not good. Rooms don't take advantage the beautiful setting. Be sure your room faces the mountains or golf. MANY rooms face interior courtyards so NO enjoyment of your balcony. Hotel Bartender did not know how to make a dirty Martini, very easy to make, could not figure out what she gave me. Meomi Pino nor is 22$a glass, pretty high for meowing. returned to our room @ 3pm 2 days and room not done. Needs new management. Golf course was beautiful. Disappointing stay
