Oceanis Beach Hotel

We have visited this hotel twice. The first time in June 2022 and second time in October 2023. Both times we had an excellent stay. We had a sea view room which was lovely. Hotel is clean, staff are friendly and food & drinks are good. The hotel is only 10 minutes to Rhodes Old Town and the bus stop is just outside the hotel. There are some lovely bars & restaurants near to the hotel - we liked the sports bar - it had a great atmosphere and was really busy. Beach is just across the road, easy to access as a zebra crossing right outside hotel. Plenty of sunbeds / seating area for day & night. Entertainment most evenings. We definitely recommend this hotel, especially for the price.

Nicely decorated hotel with comfortable seating areas. Room was a good size with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Restaurant got busy with queueing in the first hour of opening at dinner time. Food was varied with themed nights. Local drinks were average, wine was good, beer poor and cocktails were good. Entertainment was good with a selection of singers/dancers/performers. Across the road from the beach which has loungers free to use. You have to cross a busy road to get to the beach. Pools were freezing cold but good size with plenty of loungers. TUI rep Jason was very helpful. Overall a pleasant stay.

Hotel was great, nice pool area, reception and rooms. But the staff made our holiday experience extra special. Every single staff member was lovely. The maitre d’ was exceptional, he was at every breakfast lunch and dinner service and made every guest feel special and well looked after. Food is fantastic, best all inclusive food I have had.

Excellent hotel and we will be returning in 2024. All inclusive options are very good for both food and drinks. Entertainment was good .very friendly and helpful. Location excellent only 10 mins into Rhodes old town. The only improvements needed are around the pool . The grass that sunbeds are on gets very mucky at times so a tiled surface would be much better. Small tables beside sun loungers would make it more comfortable so you could put food and drinks and personal items on them and not on the grass as ants where climbing into drinks when placed on ground. The sunbeds are very uncomfortable and need to be changed.

After 5 visits it still is my favorite hotel on the island. The staff is great en realy makes you feel at home. The restaurant has a something good to eat for everybody and the special nights are super. Whith the sea nearby you can relax and enyoy your vacation. I am looking forewerd to go back there.

Great stay from start to finish. We arrived very late after dinner and all inclusive hours were finished, however we were checked in by a friendly man on reception who informed us there would be sandwiches and snacks in the fridge and we could still get a welcome drink from the bar. Our room was spotlessly clean and very spacious, we were at the back and facing hills which did mean we had a few mosquito issues when out on the terrace, a lesson learnt more repellent if we come again. The restaurant has plenty of food and caters for all dietary needs, if you have a specific need the staff will get something made from the kitchen. Even if you are a fussy eater I would think you would struggle not to find something you like. My wife is a wheelchair user and the restaurant manager and his staff were always very attentive to her while we were eating, nothing was too much trouble and if we had to wait a couple of minutes for a table they were always so apologetic, it really wasn’t an issue at times they were busy. The food is themed most nights my least favourite was the Mexican night but I still found plenty I liked to eat. If you don’t fancy the restaurant at lunch time, there is a snack bar open during the afternoon that does kebab meat, pizzas and plenty of accompaniments, we often alternated between the 2. The pool area is spotless and always plenty of sunbeds, helped by the fact that if you reserve one super early your towel gets removed. You don’t have to bring towels (saves case weight) you can hire one for 10 euro refundable deposit and change it as many times as you like during your stay. There are 2 pools one is a traditional rectangle shape and the main one goes round an island, if you want to swim you are better doing laps rather than lengths in this one. Although the pools were not artificially heated they were still plenty warm enough. The evening entertainment was good often a dance act or singer and during the day they have activities on. Perhaps the entertainment (animation) team could have been a bit more pro active in walking round getting people to join in daytime activities, often it was announced on the pa and they would expect you to come along if nobody did it didn’t go ahead, not everyone could hear the PA. There is a bus stop outside the hotel with regular busses however if you want to go to the old town you can book a shuttle at reception, this is only a couple of euros more expensive and you are guaranteed a seat and know exactly what time the bus will come. The cleaners kept the room and the surrounding areas spotless and they were always very friendly. The hotel has its own section of beach over the road where sunbeds are free for guests, the road can be busy but we never waited more than a couple a minutes to cross. The beach in this area is a tad rocky and I would recommend getting a pair of aqua shoes. Had a great holiday at this hotel. Rooms and hotel were very clean. Beds comfy. Free safe. Coffee/tea in room. Beach across busy road is a pebble beach, no sand but I’d read reviews so knew to bring beach shoes. Food in restaurant was quite good, different theme every night, some better than others. Lunch snack bar did serve salad, chicken nuggets and pizza every day but you could always go to restaurant for something different. Adult pool is very deep and so stays quite cold especially in October. Cocktails were not great and very sweet, but you can have other drink choices. I didn’t find the staff very friendly but wasn’t too bothered. You can get the bus outside the hotel to Rhodes Town for 2.50 euros or 13 euros in a taxi. Shower room to use when flying late at night. Not much going on in Ixia.

It was really nice experience to be a guest of Oceanis Beach Hotel. Building and rooms are really clean. Location in nice neighborhood of Ixia, close to (50m) beach and bus stop gives you everything you need - you can go to beach or go sightseeing. Food is also an advantage of hotel - totally variety types of meats, veggies, cheese etc. with delicious taste. And the most important thing - stuff!! Very kindful, friendly and happy people are always helpful when you need. Totally recommend this place for vacation ,:)
