Breezbay Shuzenji Hotel

The service and location are both good, the dinner and breakfast are plentiful, the rooms are large, and you can choose a private hot spring session (40 minutes) for free, which is great value for money.

The location is a bit remote, about a ten-minute walk from the station, but this comes with a quiet environment. A private bath can be reserved for free at check-in. Complimentary afternoon snacks (oden) and late-night ramen are available. The surrounding scenery is beautiful. Very satisfied.

A very good hotel with a very high cost performance. I stay in this hotel every time I come to Shuzenji. There are three baths and hot springs. The room is also very large, with two single beds and tatami.

The facilities were old and not very organized, and the corridors were very cold. I was really disappointed when I opened the window in my room and found spider webs and a huge spider. I was looking forward to the food, but the half buffet was a disappointment. It was nice that there was all-you-can-drink alcohol from check-in until the meal. The cave bath was also nice. I wasn't expecting much, but considering the price of the accommodation, I guess it can't be helped overall.

An average hot spring hotel, the hotel is relatively old. The first time I encountered it, I had to change into slippers as soon as I entered the hotel lobby, but I could drag my luggage upstairs. In addition to the large bath, there is also an open-air bath that is free and another that is charged. Reservations are required for both. There are some outdoor walkways leading to this open-air bath that are not well lit. I chose this bath and didn't have time to try the large bath. The hotel room is large and has enough space but the equipment is quite old. The shower in the room is not powerful enough, the heating is not enough, the inside of the refrigerator is a bit dirty, and the stains on the bottom of the shower curtain have not been replaced after long-term use. Overall cleanliness and hygiene should be improved. Overall I would not consider this hotel again.
