Excellent very traditional ryokan, it is situated in a quiet area and is a truly relaxing stay. It has free use of privatized onsens, and excellent cuisine. Amenities are plentiful. The only negative point is the requirement to prebook dinners and breakfast too far ahead, some flexibility would improve the stay and permit no pre bookings for food nearby. Overall excellent nonetheless

We chose this destination for our 25th wedding anniversary trip, and we were thoroughly impressed with the excellent service, delicious and well-prepared meals, and the lovely accommodation. The staff were friendly and responsive, the facilities were clean, and it's a wonderfully peaceful place for a relaxing getaway.

Really loved this place. The service was lovely, the food was amazing especially beside the river under the kotatsu. And I loved how big the room was with the private bath. Had an amazing time in the private onsens without anyone disturbing. Couldn’t have asked for a better ryokan to go to.

Enjoying traditional Japanese cuisine by the river. Absolutely superb. The room was clean. The tatami mats were comfortable. The staff were polite and attentive. Check-in was simple and convenient.

It was a wonderful traditional Japanese stay. The rooms were newly renovated and the environment was very quiet. The traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast were both very special. The private bath was a great experience.
