La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Jacksonville TX

Staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean. The only problem I had was the tv channels were limited, but we didn’t come to watch tv.

Hotel was super clean and updated. Staff was wonderfully helpful. There was a musty smell in the hallways this time around that I’ve not experienced before (we stay here about once a year). But there were air dryers throughout so I’m guessing it was a one time thing. The room itself was fresh and clean. No smell. Cool & fresh.

If I could rate them 0 stars that is what they would get. You are better off at the Holiday Inn rather than this hotel. The staff is unfriendly - the breakfast is terrible - the gravy for biscuits and gravy was like glue and the new batch put out was cold. The scrambled eggs were awful. The rooms were wet and damp they had damp rid in the rooms but didn’t control the moisture. Was going to let our son swim in the pool - but, it looked dirty and gray water. The rooms are dark and no lighting other than between the bed and at the desk. Best to find someplace other than here to stay!

Breakfast menu did not look or taste fresh. Smoking pot on the 3rd floor was so bad. Had to Complain a couple of times but seems like the staff didn’t care bc they said it happens all the time and they can’t stop it.

When I was placed in my room the TV did not work, also I sat down in the office chair at the desk and the arm pad fell off.

Rooms and staff were excellent, beds extremely comfortable. Very clean. Was well pleased with the stay.

Breakfast was sufficient, hotel was easily accessible and location was quiet. Bed was a bit soft and worn in; but we slept well despite the loud AC unit. In room mini fridge did not work well, we were only there one night so it wasn’t an issue worth dealing with. Would stay here again.

Breakfast was really bad.Sausage had to much salt and to the gravy was like paste.Eggs were warm at best barely warm enough to melt the cheese.Bagels tasted old and were stale.

The property was clean nice and in order. The front desk clerk was ready to help in any way. When getting to our room and settled in the lighting was our 1st encounter it was a little hard to get the 3 different lamps to work, finally got them going. 2nd problem was the TV. It come on but wasn’t connected . The front desk was notified and came up and fixed the problem. 3rd problem was the next morning the elevator wasn’t working, I went down stairs after looking several minutes for the stairs and notified the morning clerk of the problem she reset the elevator problem solved. She was not aware of the problem. 4th problem there was a few roaches in our room. Enough about that and last on waking up to watch the morning news the TV didn’t work again. After paying 114.00 dollars was kind of disappointed in the price for the services over all. Top point is the air worked well no issues
