The hotel is absolutely beautiful - it’s a nineteenth century mansion, elegantly restored in a calm setting with lots of courtyards and flowers. The pool area is also lovely. We visited with our four children and had two adjoining rooms which were very nicely decorated and spacious. You can walk out of the hotel to a local area which is busy and interesting. We walked to the flower market (20 mins) first thing in the morning and it was amazing to see all the flowers. The hotel offers to accompany the walk for £25 per person, which we thought was a bit excessive. We arranged for a guide to show us around the key sights - we did this through the hotel for approximately £50 for five hours and it was good. There are lots of extras offered on a board in the hotel - the walk, yoga and other activities, but be aware that these are extra costs, as is the welcome drink and rooftop happy hour. The staff were decent and the restaurant produces wonderful breakfasts, as well as other meals both Indian and western if you want them. A very enjoyable experience - we recommend highly.

Samode Haveli is a stunningly beautiful property in the heart of Jaipur. We stayed there two nights in Dec, 2025 and experienced their exceptional service. We enjoyed top notch service by the staff from check-in to restaurant, bar and room service. They were indeed very welcoming and helpful. The property itself is sprawling with multiple gardens and courtyards all very tastefully done. The place exudes old world charm, elegance and style with the traditional Rajasthani frescos and mirrored walls romantically transporting you to a bygone era. We were upgraded to a master suite with a private jacuzzi which truly felt like the inside of a museum. One of the best experiences at the hotel is the bar which has a colonial feel to it and the restaurant which serves a sumptuous breakfast and some extraordinary dishes for dinner. I would recommend spending a few nights having dinner inside the property itself. I highly recommend the hotel and can’t wait to go back again.

Simran was a great host and the property was beautiful. The jewellery shops had lots of options. The breakfast and dinner were phenomenal. We fed the squirrels in the morning and it was so lovely. The room was spacious and comfortable. Definitely worrh every rupee.

We stayed 3 nights when visiting Jaipur and whilst not uber luxurious it has huge character, a central location, and lovely staff. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped and spacious. The hotel also had a lovely pool and gardens and restaurant serving a range of food options. Definitely worth staying at Samode Haveli given all of the above

An oasis of calm in the heart of frantic Jaipur. Very relaxing. We visited as a couple as part of a luxury tailor made tour around North India. We were upgraded to a huge suite with a large sitting area and a roll top bath in a large bathroom. We received a welcoming gin and tonic on arrival. It has a heritage character with multiple levels and open courtyards and it’s a bit of maze finding your room! We had a great breakfast in an open courtyard. The pool is in a lovely relaxing setting. We took advantage a wonderful yoga for us as a couple.

Very memorable stay with my mother. Beautiful heritage haveli converted to hotel. Warm ambience, staff is polite, Beautiful interiors, breakfast was reasonably good but may be not different from most buffet breakfast. There was a sense of calm, peace and stillness that I wanted with my hotel stay. The only issue was there are stairs and my mom had knee pain issues however staff was very helpful and provided alternative ways and even offered us a room on ground floor and that they could arrange breakfast for my mother in room. I think its one of its kind and if you wish to avoid a typical touristy big hotel chain and instead wish for some peaceful heritage experience then the stay at Samode Haveli is worth it. I particularly thank Simran and Manager who took interest in looking after my concerns during the stay.

From the moment we arrived we were transported to an oasis of calm. Our room was one of the oldest rooms and was lovely with a raised day bed, dressing area and a lovely bathroom. The ground and swimming pool areas are well tended and my husband loved all the beautiful bar areas and are the perfect place to relax and take in your day. The restaurant and food are the finishing touches to a glorious stay. Our lunches and evening meals under the spectacular Banyan Tree just felt perfect. All the staff were friendly and attentive and we had a long conversation with the F&B manager who couldn’t have been nicer and told us all about the history of the Haveli. All and all we loved it here and can’t wait to come back to see more of the city and to stay here again.
