We recently stayed at Taj Devi Ratan with my parents during their surgery, and I want to take a moment to thank the team for making our experience truly remarkable. From the very beginning, Kanika and the entire front office team stood out with their care and thoughtfulness. They ensured a quick and smooth check-in, assisted my parents whenever we entered the hotel, and even personally checked on them during our stay. Their attention to detail, ***** with the flexibility for a late departure, meant a lot to us. Mr. Ajay and team, thank you so much for customizing our food preferences, it was exactly what we needed. The restaurant team and Chef Mohammed, was always so attentive and accommodating, making every meal a delight. A big shoutout to Jitendar from Housekeeping as well! Coming back to a clean and organized room after long hours at the hospital was such a relief. His effort and care truly stood out and were deeply appreciated. Overall, our experience at Taj Devi Ratan was beyond our expectations. The warmth, kindness, and professionalism of the team made a challenging time for us so much easier. We chose to stay at the resort to celebrate our anniversary, but unfortunately, the experience fell far below our expectations. 1. Food Quality and Safety: During lunch, I ordered paneer curry, which had a sour taste. Initially, I assumed it was just too much lemon, but after tasting the curry separately, it was clear that it was spoiled. About an hour later, I began feeling extremely unwell and suffered severe food poisoning, which left me confined to the room and washroom until morning. As a result, I missed the high tea and dinner included in our package. I explained the situation and requested curd rice for dinner due to my condition, I was informed it would be charged extra—an insensitive response given the circumstances. The food at the resort is also exorbitantly priced, with items like a single glass of buttermilk costing ₹550.
Fortunately wife didn't ate the curry, otherwise with an infant baby it would have been very difficult. 2. Anniversary Arrangements: I had requested room decoration and a cake in advance through the booking form and email to surprise my wife. Unfortunately, the decoration was not prepared before our arrival, and someone showed up to do it only after we had checked in, completely ruining the surprise. The “special amenities” were underwhelming—a small pastry-sized cake and five pieces of fruit.
 3. Hospitality and Reception: The reception staff were indifferent and unaccommodating. I had to explain my package details and even show proof from their own website to clarify inclusions. The check-in process felt mechanical: "Sign here, sign there. Here’s your luggage and buggy." How am I suppose to know what all facilities does resort provides? where to call? what things are available? What are the timings of food and activities? A brief tour would have helped. For a stay costing over ₹30,000 per night, I expected far better hospitality and attention to detail.
 While the resort itself is spacious, it lacks the charm, warmth, and impeccable service that a brand like TAJ offers. What was supposed to be a special celebration turned into a disappointing experience marked by food safety concerns, lackluster service, and poor execution of details.
