Denham Inn

The pictures online don’t do this home justice. I enjoyed walking around and looking at the beautiful furnishings. The breakfast served was delicious. I was only able to stay one night but I look forward to returning soon. This is the best place to stay in Monticello.

We absolutely loved our stay.. My husband & I spent the weekend to celebrate our 21st Wedding Anniversary. The Inn is very elegant, & we felt a wonderful small town feel in Monticello. Pat , the owner was very nice & made us feel so welcome.. Loved the breakfast & are looking forward to coming back again

Fabulous stay all around. Pat was warm and welcoming from the time we arrived. The delicious breakfast was served in the dining room furnished in lovely antiques. If you want to feel pampered be sure to stay at the 1872 Denham Inn.

Take a step back in history at the 1872 John Denham House Bed and Breakfast! It is rumored that the Blue room is ******* by Sarah Denham. You be the judge 👻. We stayed there on the way through Monticello Fl on the way to Alabama. The home was nicely restored with plenty of amenities and a tasty home made breakfast. There where snacks and beverages available free of charge and comfortable rooms decorated back from the late 1800’s. We enjoyed the claw foot tub of the honeymoon suite and the multi candle display in one of 6 fireplaces. The rooftop cupola gives a spectacular view of the grounds. Highly recommend spending a night in this historic inn. Monticello is definitely a quant must visit small town. The drawback’s are: Lack of garbage cans throughout the home. There was a small can available in the bathroom of our room only and didn’t see one in the common areas of the inn. Ice is only available at a knock of the innkeepers kitchen door. The honeymoon suite which faced the front of the home lacked appropriate bathroom window coverings and anyone could see all bathroom and bath activity from the front of the house in the evening. The room was also missing a remote for the satellite system and our check in was later so we were unable to enjoy television during our stay. If we would have arrived earlier I’m sure the remote situation would have been resolved. Still highly recommend a weekend at the 1872 Denham Inn. Pat was a great host. 5 star experience.

The historic essence accompanied by the pleasant interaction with our hostess, Ms. Pat, along with some of the best breakfast fare available anywhere, places this destination as one of the tops on our travels. If more than 5 stars were available, we would certainly choose that number.

We stayed a night at the 1875 Denham Inn in Monticello Florida while traveling through north Florida. Pat Inmon is a gracious host and we throughly enjoyed our all to brief stay. We stayed in the Blue Room which was very comfortable for the two of us and for our K-9 traveling companion. The inn is very dog friendly and Pat makes both her human and K-9 guests feel welcome. Out stay included a delicious breakfast which included fresh fruit, orange juice, croissants and an egg casserole with featured locally sourced ingredients. We look forward to our next stay a the inn. We highly recommend this unique bed and breakfast.

I had previously stayed at this B&B and had a wonderful experience. In January of 2023 we knew we would be attending FSU football games and wanted to secure a room at this the Denham for parents weekend and other games. I made a reservation via their website in January 2023 for October 6 - 8th and have a confirmation. The owner called me and canceled today (8/26/2023) and told me that my rate was too low due to the FSU parents weekend and canceled my reservation so she could get higher rate from someone else. She actually blamed me saying that I booked knowingly the rate should be more. I realize that they need to make money however they should honor their price at the time my reservation was made.....but will not...... UNBELIEVABLE and dishonest!!!!!

My two nights stay at the Inn was one of my favorite visits to a B&B ever. Yes, it may be *******, but I didn't experience that. Maybe next time. I experienced fantastic breakfasts, warm home baked treats and snacks & drinks 24/7. She honored my food allergy, and I was so pleased. The resident owner is readily available and shares her Inn with such kindness, knowledge, and respect. I traveled from the Inn to GA and upon my return enjoyed many stores, and a ******* ghost tour of the Town. I'll be back and highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.

Disgustingly dirty.....I worked there and my skin crawls at how gross it is. The owners dog pees and poops in kitchen ...she has 2 grandchildren who don't have a clue...and she has them make the beds... I had to quit to lack of knowledge....70 year old lady cleaning. .or so call it😳
