Ocean Suites Jeju Hotel

Good! My sister and I stayed here, and it was perfectly spacious for two – we even had an extra bed, lol. The hotel is literally right on the beach; you just step out and there's the ocean! It's about an 8-minute walk to the main street, and there are lots of restaurants and convenience stores around the hotel. The front desk staff were super nice too, and they spoke Chinese! I had a really great time this trip!

The hotel is right by the sea; stepping out, you're on a beachfront promenade. In the evening, there are singers performing on the roadside, creating a wonderfully relaxing vacation vibe. We stayed in a partial sea view room, which was super spacious, and we could see the distant pier through the window. Downstairs, the hotel has a convenience store and a coffee shop. It's also super close to Emart, Martro, and Chilseong-ro, which is very convenient.

The room is very spacious and right by the sea. The hotel is also conveniently located near Qixing Road for shopping! Highly recommended! I'll definitely stay here again next time!

The facilities are a bit old, but the surrounding seaside walking path, convenience stores, and restaurants, as well as an Olive Young right behind the hotel and a convenience store and coffee shop downstairs, all help to make up for the outdated facilities. The hotel staff are also polite and can communicate in English.

Overall, it's great! The beach is right downstairs, and there are lots of people walking and jogging in the evenings. It's only a 5-minute walk to Dongmen Market and the pedestrian street. The only downsides were that there was no bottled water in the room on check-in day, so we had to buy a large bottle ourselves after dinner. There was also no bath mat, and I almost slipped after showering. The room only had 4 small towels, no large ones (for two of us, it should have been 2 large and 2 small). The next day, we hung the 'do not disturb' sign, but when we returned, there was a large bag hanging on the door with two bottles of water and four towels of various sizes inside.

The hotel staff were great, especially the front desk ladies I encountered – all very nice and English communication was perfectly fine. It seems to be a contracted hotel for the Korean budget airline AERO K. The room was very clean, but the hotel itself is just so outdated. The classic yellow furniture and wide-bezel TV from the millennium made me feel like I was back at my grandparents' house. Please renovate soon!

The service was terrible. They advertised a Chinese-speaking front desk, but there wasn't one, and their English wasn't great either. I tried to take a photo upstairs and was shooed away, which I didn't understand. They charged me for a bottle of water, and the housekeeping staff even threw away the box for my luxury perfume. After a long day out, I returned to find the air conditioning turned off, making the room unbearably hot. The hot water was inconsistent, constantly fluctuating between hot and cold. The facilities are very old. The only positive was the view, and the surrounding area was fairly convenient.

I stayed on the seventh floor of the Jeju Ocean Suites Hotel this time. During the day, I could clearly see planes, and it was very quiet at night. The hotel is right by the sea, but you can't go down to the water. There's a jogging track. On the first floor, there's a bakery and a convenience store. There's also an art gallery outside with sculptures from artists around the world.
