I arrived late after sightseeing, but they greeted me warmly. They even provided complimentary tangerines, which was nice because I could enjoy Jeju tangerines early in the morning. First, the water temperature was a bit difficult to control. It took a while for the hot water to come out, and it was so hot that even slightly tilting the shower towards the cold water made it cold quickly, making showering uncomfortable. Second, even though it was only a one-night stay, there were only two towels for two people. Assuming we showered twice a day, there should have been at least four. It was quiet and clean, but I don't think I'll be using it again.
We stayed at Landing Shinhwa World Hotel for three nights with complimentary Shinhwa World theme Park big3 tickets. My daughter had so much fun there. The hotel room is spacious and comfortable. Location is good if you plan to visit the theme park.
This hotel is always on my wish list when I travel to Jeju, but I finally went because it was hard to make a reservation.
Unlike other brand hotels/resorts, there aren't many rooms, so it feels private, and the rooms are spacious and the interior facilities are clean, and I was able to enjoy the hot springs, so I was very satisfied.
In particular, I was very happy to drink tea or beer while looking at the Jeju scenery on the terrace.
The food was so famous that I had high expectations, but it was better than I expected.
I ate two meals at the hotel and tried four different menus, and the signature udon was especially delicious, and the bomal haejangguk I had for breakfast was very delicious.
They say the courtyard changes depending on the season, so I'd like to visit this accommodation in another season, especially in winter when it snows.
It seems like a particularly good accommodation for lovers or couples to quietly rest.

The hotel's decor and views are both excellent. When I checked in, the front desk staff spoke Chinese, but the woman working the night shift didn't. The hotel feels quite new, and the lobby area reminds me a lot of the Guangzhou Four Seasons. The views are truly unparalleled. However, the location is a bit out of the way, and the room size is a little small. I was starving at night because there's no 24-hour room service, and there were no snacks in the room either. I really suggest they improve this aspect.
Pretty much self contained resort. I had a rented car, but ended up not going anywhere and stayed the whole time in resort. There are lots of restaurants in the premises, that I have found sufficient. Also there’s a small theme park, where we went at the best time of the year! There was literally no queue whatsoever. Loved it!
The environment and the pictures are exactly the same, and the facilities aren't old. The indoor pool is a bit of a walk from our building. The free airport shuttle is spacious and comfortable, and it departs on time. The check-out policy isn't very user-friendly. We told the front desk in advance that we wanted a 2 PM check-out so our child could nap, but they started calling us at 1 PM, and by 1:30 PM, a staff member came to our door to urge us to leave. The nap was completely disturbed, and my child didn't get to sleep. The children's section of the buffet only offered chocolate ice cream and desserts. Our child, who is under two, could only eat some seaweed rice balls and red bean buns. If you go late, the red bean buns are sometimes gone for the day. For the adults' food, we could only eat some rice noodles, braised beef with carrots, and boiled eggs. Most of the other dishes had a strong pepper and garlic flavor, and our child complained they were spicy and wouldn't eat them. We really didn't see many vegetables. Occasionally there were some mushrooms, but they were either sweet or spicy. It's not very convenient for young children to eat there. There are also limited restaurant options nearby. The grilled pork was too thick and not tender enough to eat. The pool was fun, and the children's area was large and great to play in. The balcony door in our room kept the noise out at night. We stayed on the 7th floor. We didn't even go to the beach because it was too far to walk with a child. We took a taxi to a different bathhouse.
Grand Josun Jeju is great for family. A whole floor of family floor dedicated to young children, and an indoor outdoor pool which is great for rainy or shine.
Also complimentary sauna and optional massage parlour available.
Location is at the south of island, which makes the travel to the North, East or West a little longer. If you don't mind the drive, it is a great option to stay especially for young family, or if you want to be away and have some quiet time.
The hotel itself was comfortable and the staff friendly, but because it was located in the middle of the mountain, we had to go down to Jungmun to eat. Still, it was a nice quiet place to rest. I'm uploading the photo because I remember eating grilled hairtail fish after a quick stop from the hotel.
We had a great one night stay here! Room was nice and clean, the convenience store at reception is really handy and the staff were helpful! Location is nice, we had a great view of the sunset from the little beach nearby, but is a bit out of the way from the islands main bus routes. Overall would stay again!
