King David Hotel Jerusalem

The location of the hotel is excellent. The territory is also wonderful. Nice pool (however, the pool staff could have been more friendly). The breakfast is excellent. That's where all the good things finished.  The service is disgusting. Room cleaning was very bad. I had to remind them about everything (change the bathrobe , bring coffee). The rooms are very old, and the bath is very inconvenient . When you wash, you always fill the bathroom floor.  Upon check-in, they left a deposit in dollars - they promised to return the dollars upon check-out, but in the end they said that it is not possible and gave us shekels (recalculated at a predatory rate). It is very strange to get such service, when you pay 900 USD per night.

The King David is the nicest hotel in Jerusalem. It is historic, has impeccable service, and is only handicapped by dated local customs (side eye towards the lack of a cheeseburger on the menu). We stayed for several. nights and had no major issues and would stay here again if we were to visit.

Our stay at the King David Jerusalem was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with genuine warmth and professionalism. The hotel is elegant, rich in history, and perfectly maintained. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, the food was outstanding, and the breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had. Upon arrival - no one was at door to take our luggage, no one was at front desk to check in We carried our own luggage in In room - $2000 per night suite - carpet extremely stained and the room was very dated 2 times, it took more than 2 hours and several phone calls to get ice Pillows were extremely hard but they did bring softer pillows on request Bathroom is extremely dated and tub/shower combination leaks out onto floor. One day we came back from sightseeing and all drain plugs in sinks and tubs had been removed and were laying on the counter Breakfast was very nice but in three days they never came back to check to see if we’d like more coffee or juice furniture in public areas needs some repair- many chips, dents etc Left our service light for turn down turned on at 5pm, two hours later service not performed public areas are lovely and grand but the hotel is in drastic need of renovations

The King David Hotel in Jerusalem is well known for its luxury and grandeur. The service is above and beyond what you expect from a 5 star hotel. We go every year and thanks to Mohammad and Rozalia our check in and entire stay was superb. The special room assignment that my Mom prefers was taken care of prior to check in. When we arrived they were waiting with open arms and went above and beyond to ensure all aspects of our stay were perfect. No review of the King David would be complete without a shout out for the magnificent breakfast, meals ond service of Isaac.

Excellent hotel with a very pleasant atmosphere. The staff is very polite, the hotel facilities are comfortable, the room is clean, the bed is very comfortable, the pool is luxurious and the breakfast is excellent.

Our weekend at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem was excellent … the hotel and the staff never disappoint especially Jeremy on reception who sorted our problems with a missing suitcase and was so obliging as are all of the staff You get the impression that the hotel and its staff are really happy to welcome you into this iconic hotel which is steeped in tradition.. can’t wait to revisit

This was my third stay at the King David Jerusalem, and honestly, it’s been the best experience each time. The hotel has a unique vibe—it’s a true grand hotel, elegant and full of history, yet still warm and comfortable. Everything during the stay always runs smoothly. The rooms are clean and well cared for, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the lobby has that same relaxed, welcoming, and elegant feel I always enjoy. Dining is another highlight: both breakfasts and the Saturday meal were excellent—tasty food, plenty of variety, and really good service. The pool and gardens are spotless, making it easy to just relax and enjoy. And the views of IMCA and the Old City of Jerusalem are simply breathtaking. What I especially like is how the hotel keeps its history alive. The building is full of stories, and the guided tours around the property are a great way to experience it - I really enjoyed them. After coming back a few times, I can say the King David has just the right mix of history, comfort, and hospitality - and they manage to keep that feeling steady year after year. It always feels good to return, and I’m already looking forward to the next visit.
