Johnathan, Juan, and Fabio were the best! They were attentive from start to finish. The Retreat is truly Heaven on Earth! The Retreat is hands down the epitome of relaxation. The amenities, the food, and service combined make this place unforgettable!

Perfect feel good getaway. Staff was so friendly and helpful, amazing spa experiences and beautiful property. High-end feel without the pretentiousness. Surrounded by nature- I loved the hiking trails and wildlife soothing sounds off my balcony everyday. Perfect size retreat - opportunity to meet other guests if interested but also never felt like too many people at pool or spa or anywhere. Entire experience was relaxing and tranquil. I’ll definitely be back!

Easily on-par with any high end resort (think Four Seasons, Aman) in terms of property and amenities. This boutique experience edges above the afforementioned with its unparalleled service and exceptional attention to detail. As a neurosurgeon I appreciate those with a true passion for their craft- Jonathan curated a bar program that consistently delivered some of the best cocktails I've experienced in Latin America!

Top to bottom this retreat is detailed oriented offering delicious healthy cuisine and the best spa treatments I’ve ever experienced. A must do is Amal’s Ayurveda massage. It a unique experience with the 4th generation healer who begins with a short prayer and song before he begins. The 90 minute version, he pours oil with healing power on your forehead and makes long strokes whisking away pain and fatigue. An experience worth trying.

"My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at this exquisite spa, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed by the warm and attentive staff, who went above and beyond to make our day special. The ambiance is serene and beautifully designed, creating an atmosphere of complete relaxation and luxury. We indulged in a couples massage that was heavenly, followed by some time in the private sauna and relaxation areas. Every detail was perfect – from the soothing music to the selection of essential oils personalized for us. The spa's amenities are impeccable, and the treatments are delivered by highly skilled therapists who make sure you leave feeling rejuvenated and cherished. This spa truly exceeded our expectations, making our anniversary celebration a memorable one. If you’re looking for a luxurious, tranquil escape to celebrate a special occasion, I couldn’t recommend this place more highly. We can’t wait to return!"

We had a wonderful time. We did a leisurely beach day with Alejandro and took an amazing mocktail course with Jonathan where we learned about the indigenous fruits and herbs along with how to utilize them to make satisfying and elegant non-alcoholic beverages. Who needs alcohol?! The spa amenities were very relaxing. It was a great experience all around.

...third time here: true place of healing. what makes it so special is the PEOPLE: every department - Front Desk (Monica, Emerson, Alejandro...); the Office) Jimena!); the SPA (good Lord!) - Fiorella, Daisy, Amal...everyone!) and the Dining Room: this crew is wonderful: Karina, Juan, Fabio, Michael and JONATHAN. I feel I'm visiting a friend's house, each time. The warm smiles (and, yes *hugs*), make each meal that much more special. I can't wait to return!

I’m not sure where to start, Retreat was one of the best experiences I have had in quite some time. It was so relaxing. The food was so refreshing and fulfilling Jonathan made every meal time feel so personal. The Spa was fresh, and clean and the employees so welcoming and accommodating. I can’t say any more but just book. I promise you will not be disappointed.
