Highly recommended, new and clean hotel in the Shaxi area. There is a morning market every Friday, walking distance from the hotel. Breakfast is delicious , simple and nice.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience staying at Shaxi Ruchu Homestay. The room was big, cozy, clean, and wonderfully decorated. There is a beautiful small garden at level 2. The owner was an amazing host—very welcoming and attentive, offering great tips on local spots to visit. We enjoyed the Friday market and spent the whole morning there. The homemade breakfast 鸡汤米线 was delicious! The location was peaceful and within walking distance to Shaxi Ancient Town. Highly recommend homestay for anyone looking for a warm, personal, and comfortable place to stay.

A wonderful place!!!!! It is outside the ancient town, but a short 10-15 min walk into the town. Love the peaceful countryside vibe. Host is amazing and very helpful. We loved the eatery downstairs which we ate each night and each morning for breakfast! :) Thank you!

This was undoubtedly the most surprising and perfect stay of our Yunnan trip. We were stunned the moment we entered the room; the view was even more captivating than the photos. We loved the balcony, with its picturesque countryside views, so beautiful it made us want to just sit and stare. The interior was immaculately maintained, revealing the owner's meticulous taste and thoughtfulness. There was something magical about this place that instantly rewrote our original one-day itinerary—we couldn't bear to leave, so we stayed an extra day without hesitation.

The hotel is very close to Shaxi Ancient Town, and can be reached in 5 minutes by electric scooter. The balcony of the room has a direct view of a large rice field and mountain scenery, which is great for taking photos. The owner and his wife run the hotel, which is very clean. The breakfast is also delicious. It's less than two kilometers to the ancient town, and the owner will help drive us there (we hired a car but didn't ask for it to drive us there. When we were waiting for the driver to come in the morning, the owner thought we were going to the ancient town and said he would drive us there).
