I had a wonderful stay at this homestay in Shaxi Ancient Town. The hosts were incredibly nice, friendly, and generous, making me feel like part of their family. They even offered a free ride to the ancient town whenever they weren’t busy, which was a thoughtful touch.
They went out of their way to help me arrange transportation to places of interest outside the town, ensuring I made the most of my visit. The home-cooked breakfast was heartwarming, especially on chilly mornings—it felt like a true comfort meal.
I also appreciated that they extended my room time, allowing me to explore the town a little longer without any rush. One of the most memorable experiences was having tea and chatting with them—it was a special, homely experience that I won’t forget.
