We absolutely loved our few days at this delightful homestay. Qiushi, our host, couldn’t have done more to look after us. She made us delicious breakfasts, was always there to check if we needed anything, and even organised our electric bike hire and onward travel. Our modern room was beautiful, with a huge panoramic window overlooking the fields and mountains, and everything inside featured intelligent controls. The location is perfect — just a five-minute walk from the centre of Shaxi. Perfect in every way!

I had a wonderful stay at this homestay in Shaxi Ancient Town. The hosts were incredibly nice, friendly, and generous, making me feel like part of their family. They even offered a free ride to the ancient town whenever they weren’t busy, which was a thoughtful touch. They went out of their way to help me arrange transportation to places of interest outside the town, ensuring I made the most of my visit. The home-cooked breakfast was heartwarming, especially on chilly mornings—it felt like a true comfort meal. I also appreciated that they extended my room time, allowing me to explore the town a little longer without any rush. One of the most memorable experiences was having tea and chatting with them—it was a special, homely experience that I won’t forget.
