DAY 97 INN.(EAST)

📍Location: Superb centralise location within the ancient town, just few mins walk to all the cafe, restaurants,shops and Yujin bridge. 🛏️ Room is clean and well maintained. There is no air-conditioning (which I think the weather there definitely does not need it), there is electric heater & blanket, humidifier in the room which is definitely handy for the cold weather. We really love the original design charm of the B&B. Just a small note there is no door to the bathroom but there is a curtain to drawn 👭 The innkeeper are very friendly and responsive. As the ancient town does not allow car to be driven in, the 2 helpful ladies came out to help us with the luggage which can be tricky to wheel on the cobbled stone pathway. One of the room light was flicking late at night and the sweet lady spot it and immediately came up to our room to check and offer to fix it. Overall was a pleasant stay and wish we have more nights in Shaxi. Looking forward to staying here again on our next visit.

This was a very cute and charming hotel and very well priced. I really enjoyed the location and my room. Breakfast was nice too and the hosts were very helpful. The only problem was that the two boss ladies argued a lot and was noisy at times. I would stay again

This is a very cozy little guesthouse right next to the main square of the Ancient town. The hospitality and the service were excellent, and we really enjoyed the little courtyard during evenings we spend there. Highly recommended.

The staff is friendly but this hotel is not for everyone. If you want to stay here, you should at least know that because its a very historic building the walls are very thin. So you'll hear any sound like talking and running water very easily. Also because it's in nature, there will be bugs. I killed maybe 5 huge beetles in the room. The location is nice. So yeah, not for everyone.
