The hotel is located just outside the main streets of the village. Hotel really clean and modern. The area is really peaceful. Excellent service and they can also help to arrange transportation. Highly suggested.

Very welcoming hotel just outside of the busy parts of Shanxi. Wonderful place with a lot of attention to details on every level.

A very nice hotel with friendly and helpful service staff. Great location as it's right next to Shaxi old town. Rooms are nice and clean. The Chinese style Breakfast was great.

There was a huge spider in the room. My feet were bitten by some unknown insect, leaving horrible marks. The bed was very small, 1.6m for a double bed. There was no air conditioning. The staff smoked and I was forced to breathe in second-hand smoke.

The lady boss was very welcoming and upgraded our room to the first floor. It was very clean and bright! The cat was very cute. She even heated up milk for us when she came back at night. It was so warm! The Chinese breakfast at Shiran was very delicious! Recommended!
