Looks nice in photos and the building is beautiful, but very run down. Needs a lot of work to compete with other hotels in Jianshui. The owner was hard to find and said he does not accept foreigners, even though it is advertised on C-trip? Hot water didnt work after 2 showers and wifi would not work.

The hotel premises are clearly 5* ! Location : a 5mn walk from the Old city, and from lots of restaurants at night. very easy to find. Staff : very nice staff! Despite not speaking English, they tried their best to please me. They helped me book a taxi, and talk to the driver. I was disappointed I was not in the building with the garden, and granted me access to the garden part. Hotel : Congratulations to the designer, who is a VERY talented person. The design, mixing old and new, is absolutely stunning. It respects tradidtions, but with a twist. the garden is exceptional. having the tea there was one of the highlights of my entire trip. Rooms : they are super luxurious, huge, with marble bathrooms and Japanese toilets. But a loise of traffic noise from mine. Only downside : this hotel is made of two buildings, which are on the other side of the street. The fish tank building has this amazing fisthtank, but it located in a VERY noisy street. My bedroom was overlooking the street, it was difficult in the morning. The garden building is super calm in an alley, all the rooms are overlooking this incredible old garden, no noise. I would recommend the owner to clearly indicate in which building the rooms are during the booking to avoid any potential disappointment upon arrival. rooms in the fishtank part are the cheapest. Overall I was happy with my stay, it's one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed in. But beware of the building you are booking to avoid surprises! I wish I had stayed longer.

Stayed for one night in a room on the first floor. Advantages: The overall decoration is in the classical Chinese style, and the courtyard decoration is also quite stylish and artistic. Disadvantages: 1. The room actually has a lighting window. It is understandable that the merchant takes care of the lighting on the first floor. But there are no curtains, so guests have no privacy at all. 2. The sound insulation effect of the room is very poor. You can hear the conversation on the second floor clearly, which affects your sleep. 3. Operation management: I originally planned to stay in Jianshui for three days, but based on the above problems, I decided to change a hotel. But I made a mistake while I was busy and actually missed the item. I called the store 2 days later. In terms of attitude and actions, the store was not very positive. The problem was not solved until I needed to return to the inn. Due to the location and decoration style of the inn, it is estimated that many people will step into the trap. After actually staying here for one night, I really can’t recommend it. In order to prevent more like-minded people from stepping on the trap, write a few more words. I also hope that the store will not be angry after seeing it. Hearing the true feelings of tourists and taking active measures to improve them is the driving force for improving store operation and management capabilities.

The room is comfortable and well-equipped. It is right at the entrance of Chaoyang Building and is very convenient for traveling.

Objectively speaking, the location of the inn is very good. It is very close to the city tower and the ancient city. The staff's attitude is also very enthusiastic. I wanted to borrow some laundry detergent to wash my baby's clothes and they immediately opened a new bag for me. but! What really surprised me was that, whether it was due to the old building itself or the poor hygiene of the guest rooms, a cockroach actually crawled onto my mother's hand when I slept until midnight! ! ! My mother is so nice. I originally wanted to find a hotel in the middle of the night, but she beat the cockroach to death with her shoe, and then told me to forget it. It was not easy for the store. I originally wanted to forget it, but I thought why, after spending so much money to stay during the National Day, I was able to enjoy such a level of hygiene. It was so surprising! This incident scared me so much that I couldn't sleep well all night, which greatly compromised the wonderful trip!

The B&B is right opposite Chaoyang Tower. During holidays, traffic is controlled and self-driving cars cannot enter during peak hours. You have to wait until the crowds have left in the evening before you can enter. The section of road from Lin'an Station to the B&B is all on uneven stone roads. It is quite physically demanding to carry the suitcases by yourself. The one we stayed in was the Goldfish Room, which is relatively cheap and has a wooden structure with a tile roof. The boss said that it faces the street and may not have good sound insulation. In fact, we were too tired to listen to the sounds outside and fell asleep directly. The boss has two residences. The Goldfish House does not have a courtyard. You can enter directly into the lobby to settle in. The other one has a courtyard and the scenery is very good.

The small courtyard is very cozy, and the boss is also very nice. He helped recommend delicious and fun places. Very good value for money!

A B&B renovated from an old courtyard. When I made the reservation, I read the reviews and chose a room on the second floor for light and comfort. When I checked in, the owner was very nice and upgraded me to a room in another courtyard that was larger and quieter. , the public space is larger, more comfortable, and very atmospheric. What's a bit hard to describe is the bathroom. There is an oblique angle on the wall next to the toilet. If you don't pay attention, you will hit your head. The faucet of the washbasin is not closed tightly and water leaks on the table. The door of the shower room is not closed tightly. When you take a shower, water leaks all over the floor... But considering that many star-rated hotels have shower doors that don’t close tightly and leak water, forget it, hahaha, everything else is pretty good.

I never write reviews, but this experience was great!! So many compliments to say. The boss was very enthusiastic and cheerful. He was an open-minded person. He arrived early and welcomed me. He upgraded me to a king-size bed room in the old house and recommended many delicious local restaurants. The location of the B&B is superb. Many scenic spots are within walking distance. Once you open the door of the B&B, you will see a different world. It is very beautiful. It is obviously decorated and designed with care. The lighting is also great. The room is really good value for money! Neatness and cleanliness are the basics. The key point is that the bathroom takes care of the hygiene habits of different ethnic groups. This is not considered by most five-star hotels in China, let alone B&Bs. It is so considerate! This is my first time staying in a B&B and I haven’t even left yet. I want to come back next time. I looked at the ratings but felt it was not worth it. First of all, the room design was unreasonable. The large mirror of the washbasin faced the bed, with the toilet and shower on both sides. The exhaust sound was loud when it was turned on. When it was turned off, there was a peculiar smell in the shower room. It is very inconvenient to change clothes when taking a shower with this layout. Secondly, the window was too small and faced the big fish pond outside. My roommate said there was a fishy smell so he closed the window. Without turning on the lights, the room was very dark. Then the disposable slippers were worn and had stains on the soles, and the razor was also used and had stubble. What was even more outrageous was that when I was preparing to take a shower before going to bed at night, I discovered that there was no shower shampoo! Fortunately, I brought it with me so I could sleep for one night. My roommate slept on the sofa outside early in the morning because he couldn't stand the smell in the bathroom. It is not recommended to stay here. If you don't care about the above and just want to find a unique accommodation close to the ancient town, you can give it a try. After all, many people have their reasons for giving good reviews.

The boss was very nice and upgraded our room for us. The yard is beautiful. It’s fun to sit in the small yard and watch the rain.
