Sichenyuan culture Resort Hotel (Jianshui Ancient City)

I probably won't stay in this kind of old B&B again. The exterior is indeed quite quaint, but the interior decor is also antique. It doesn't feel particularly people-oriented and, frankly, a bit shabby. I booked a two-bedroom, one-living room suite. The living room is so large, but there are two sofas in it. The lighting is dim, and the furniture is dark mahogany, just like the old houses in my village. Furthermore, the quality of the various supplies and decoration is very low-end. The essence of a B&B is still the comfort of the room. If you only look at the interior decoration and facilities, it's worth less than 180.

The stay experience at Sichenyuan B&B is perfect! The butler-style service is considerate and thoughtful, from check-in instructions to scenic spot recommendations. The garden courtyard is full of Zen, smart home and traditional objects are perfectly integrated, and the breakfast and afternoon tea are also good. Special thanks to the boss for personally picking up and recommending a private restaurant. Every detail makes people feel the warmth of home. Whether it is a couple's vacation or a family trip, it is highly recommended. I will definitely come back next time.

There are so many mosquitoes! There are no screens on the windows and doors! Breakfast isn't served until 8 am, and it's just frozen noodles from the supermarket steamed to order. When I went at 7:30 am, the breakfast lady said it wasn't ready yet, but I could still eat it! No one contacted or arranged anything; I had to find everything myself. The front desk was often unattended! The worst part is the soundproofing—there's absolutely no privacy anywhere!
