Great. Can rent a bike or walk 20 mins to chengdu expo. I wish they couch was a sofa bed. Not sure why the rooms are so huge but all the rooms have only 1 bed . Difficult for a family of 4.

Everything was great, except for the poor soundproofing – I could hear the person next door snoring. On the plus side, it's very close to Sancha Station.

From Tianfu Airport, take Line 18 to Sancha. Just remember not to take the direct train, as it won't stop at Sancha. I made that mistake and had to go back. The hotel is easy to find, just a short walk up from the subway exit. I arrived quite late, but there's a convenience store downstairs and street vendors, so finding things to buy wasn't an issue. A heads-up for those with early morning flights: if your flight is before 8 AM, you'll need to call a Didi (ride-sharing service) because the subway won't be running yet.

We stayed at Citadines to watch our son compete at World Games. It was a great location for the sports facilities in Chengdu East. We liked our room which was on 2 levels and had heaps of space. The bed was comfortable with nice linen. We didn't manage to have success with the Wifi but we found this in all the places we stayed. The breakfast had plenty of choice, mainly Chinese breakfast. The noodles were good. The staff were helpful and kind, we even received presents when we left. I recommend Citadines to anyone needing to stay in Chengdu East.

Excellent value for money! The location is very good, close to Expo and the metro and a huge food court with around 20 restaurants. Service was good, we got free coffee from the front desk (breakfast coffee is not for Westerners) and the hotel management helped a lot with booking extra transport, like taxis. The room we stayed in (deluxe duplex suite) was beyond expectations - the best I've ever stayed in. Air conditioning worked well and the room was full of extra amenities. Breakfast was OK, but nothing special.

Amazing value for money. Very friendly and welcoming at reception. A great choice for breakfast. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Just a short walk to the International Horticultural Exhibition.
