Orange Hotel (Jinan Daming Lake Store)

Super convenient location, with plenty of food and drink options right downstairs. The room was spacious, bright, and smelled fresh. The cleaning staff did an excellent job, and all the employees were very friendly. We had a really comfortable stay. The candies in the room were delicious, my child loved them. Breakfast was also very good.

During the Chinese New Year holiday, hotels were incredibly busy and prices skyrocketed. Finding a hotel in this location was a real stroke of luck. It's just a few minutes' walk from Daming Lake. While the hotel has been around for a while, and some of the room facilities are showing their age a bit, I was generally satisfied. There's a small courtyard for parking. During the holiday, parking spots were tight, so once you're in, it's best not to move your car. Everything is close by, so you don't really need one anyway. You can easily get to Pearl Spring, Baotu Spring, Black Tiger Spring, Quancheng Square, and Kuanhou Street with a shared bicycle. Compared to staying further out and struggling to find a taxi, staying here was incredibly worthwhile. Especially when it's crowded and busy, and you get tired after sightseeing for a bit, you can just pop back to the hotel to rest and recharge. It makes traveling so much more comfortable, almost like being at home – you can just come back whenever you feel like it. I had a minor issue with the room, but the staff responded promptly and resolved it perfectly. Their service was truly professional.

The towels had some foreign matter on them, and the bathroom light wasn't working, so it was pitch dark inside. The service attitude was also quite mediocre.

The room was exceptionally good. Facilities: Very new and perfect. Cleanliness: Very clean, I trust Orange Hotels. I like it, it's great. Environment: Very, very, very, very good. Service: Absolutely amazing, excellent service! The front desk lady was very friendly.

Overall, the value for money is excellent, especially the location – it's absolutely perfect if you want to minimize walking! Much better than stays around Baotu Spring. However, the restaurant was incredibly chaotic, especially the lady cooking noodles. Her attitude was truly terrible! I can't understand why she was working there, constantly grumbling and complaining. Someone like that should definitely be fired; it's beyond constructive criticism and genuinely dragged down the entire stay experience.

The room's soundproofing was extremely poor; I could clearly hear the snoring from next door. Before 10 PM, normal conversation was repeatedly interrupted by repeated phone calls from the front desk claiming it disturbed the neighbors. Their statements were incoherent, sometimes mentioning a child, sometimes an elderly person. Why should I be responsible for someone else's unreasonable demands? My request to change rooms was ignored. The next day at noon, despite having a late check-out benefit as a member, the front desk still called precisely at noon, specifically to bother me and tell me I could check out late. Regarding the environment, the lobby was large but the toilet smelled bad. The room was very small and the soundproofing was extremely poor.

Absolutely terrible!!! The service was awful!!! They made me park in the underground parking garage, specifically in the second basement level, in the pouring rain!!! And because I was injured, I had to walk 300-400 meters out of the garage to the front desk!!!
