The location is also good and clean. The handsome guy at the front desk has great service.
However, if the curtains in the small family room are not fully drawn, they will leak. I don’t know if all the curtains are like this or just this room. And for those with children, it is best not to live on the same floor as those with elders. It is a bit noisy at night. But it will be fine after a while.
I will book this hotel next time I come to Banna, and the price is very suitable. Don’t let high cost performance affect soft and hard services.

Around dinner time, we set off to Jinuo Mountain to gather and distribute headlamps and flashlights. After the guide explained some precautions, we set off. It was very interesting. We climbed mountains and trees along the way and saw various insects. It is also a large plant research base. It’s playable and highly recommended! ! The boss was very hands-on and encouraged us to participate. Highly recommended and will choose it next time

GGuest UserWe could not say enough nice things about this hotel. We had a very enjoyable, relaxing 10 days which was just what was required after a busy semester at work. The two young ladies and one young man at the front desk were extremely helpful and kind (I only know two of their names, Xiao Luo and Xiao Xiang). They were not over bearing and in our faces ever. They were able to help us with every request we asked for when we wanted or needed something. Having a language barrier was never a problem and they were so attentive to our needs via wechat. They were prepared to help with a driver to any sightseeing you wanted to do. There’s great restaurants and things to see and do within walking distance of the hotel too. The cleaning staff were very pleasant from the lady around the pool to the lady cleaning our room. Breakfast had two options, noodles or rice congee, it was always served with a great number of side dishes, more than enough choice from cereal, eggs, bread, as well as milk, a number of freshly prepared vegetables. Due to the great breakfast we rarely ate lunch. You just didn’t need to. We rescued a dog while in Xishuangbanna which the reception staff were really helpful with some of the things we needed to do with the dog! We have stayed in many hotels around the world and Lying Cloud was definitely a highlight. Great location, clean and modern room with good amenities, wonderful front desk staff, clean and well maintained pool and outdoor area at a very, very reasonable price. This hotel came recommended to us via a colleague and we would highly recommend it to other foreigners and Chinese friends too!

DDhanya KimberleyI booked 2 hotels in this area, for half of the week each. I had chosen them both due to their pools and beautiful looking rooms/facilities.
The staff were incredibly helpful and responsive to my messages on WeChat. However, they admitted it was their first time having non-Chinese guests and there were various issues that they needed to improve. The tea ceremony left my parents confused, as there was no translation tool used, and very little explanation as to the session. In other situations, I have had tea ceremonies that involve explanation of how the tea is made, how it should be drunk, what sort of people drink this type of tea etc. (To overcome the disappointment of this, we were gifted a pack of the delicious tea however).
We selected this hotel based on the pool facilities mostly and were very disappointed to arrive to dirt-filled pool water that had branches and other debris inside. The staff were very apologetic and explained the recent storms caught them unawares. However, little action was taken to clean the pools until I raised this matter. When we went to the second hotel of my choice, they had more pools, all of which were clean and full of water, even though the same storm would have hit them.
The photo shoot was great, and the photographer was excellent. The rooms were comfortable and the seating area was nice. We did not use the sitting area within the pool section however, due to the dirty pool etc.
The breakfast was only served to us on our first day, and then a buffet on the second day. For us, we personally preferred the buffet so that we could select our portion sizes ourselves.
I think over time, the staff will become more confident with foreign guests and this resort will be greatly enjoyed.

Everything is available on site and if you like exercising and relaxing … this hotel will be the best choice for you. Amazing gym open 24h with all the necessary equipments, the indoor pool is clean with a good water temperature for your daily swim. You also have a clean sauna, hammam and hot bath available in the changing rooms (plan to turn it on 20mn before to use it when you will need). The hot springs are just outside the gym so it will be perfect to relax after a day visiting Xishuangbanna. The outdoor pool is nice and clean ( perfect if you go on a family holidays with kids ). The room is spacious and comfortable. The cleaning staff and the rest of the team at the reception, restaurant … were all amazing and did everything to make our stay to be memorable. The restaurant even offered us several times some additional western dishes to make us happy. Ariel added my contact before our arrival to check if we needed anything and helped us during the stay. The breakfast was diverse and very tasty( the pain au chocolat and croissant were delicious). We have tried the dinner buffet once which was good but more Chinese dishes. The hotel is about 25/30mn from downtown so it is convenient if you want to be in a peaceful place but still near by the main attractions. You will need to travel a bit longer to go to the wild elephant valley, the primitive forest and the tropical garden but it was still ok. Thank you to the hotel and all the staffs for that amazing and memorable one week holidays. 10 out of 10.

YYuhexiuziThe room is nice! Very comfortable. The fan solves the problem of not wanting to use air conditioning. There is a balcony, very clean, with a clothes drying rack, balcony tables and chairs, and a screen door. I like it very much. There is a car to pick you up after getting off the plane. It is said that the size of the car is based on the number of people. The service is very good. I think the food is more cost-effective. The price is very suitable. Four or five dishes + a watermelon juice is only 350 yuan. So we didn't go out for a meal. All of them were solved in the hotel. In addition to the buffet restaurant, there is the Chinese restaurant, which is delicious and clean. All the food, accommodation and drinks for this trip were consumed in the hotel. Very good. The children were very happy to soak in the swimming pool every day. It is also very convenient to travel, and I also took photos of the Dai people. I am satisfied with this trip. It's just that the room rate is a bit high during holidays, which is a bit unwilling. Overall, it's good. The scenery of the hotel itself is very beautiful. GGuest UserIt's hard to tell from the website, but this is an office building for some of it, but seeming floors 5 and up are independent hotels, one per floor, although they seem to share a common laundry facility on floor 5 which is also where the amazing pool is. With the pool, there are no changing facilities there, so you have to have flip flops and a big towel to go back to the room on floor 16, or get your clothes wet. The room itself was pretty good, the balcony was nice and had good views, although it wasn't as clean as I'd have liked - the slippers didn't look like they are sterilised between uses, so I wore my socks around the room and they were filthy when I took them off. Definitely wouldn't have wanted to put them into my shoes! The biggest disappointment with the room is that they don't provide real towels, only single use disposable towels, which aren't quite sufficient to get dry, and only one big and one small per person. The shower door also wasn't sealed at the bottom so when I went to the toilet later, I discovered a massive puddle that soaked my sock, and obviously I had no spare towel to dry my feet. Also, it made going to the swimming pool really inconvenient. All the other guests at the pool had normal hotel style bath towels, so it seems this is the only hotel that doesn't bother with them... Finally, it's hard to get to from the main road, you have to pull your luggage 600m from the bus stop, and if you get a taxi, the area around here is really congested so they take a long time to come (over 10 minutes for Didi).

However, the room has a garden view and you can't hear the bustle and noise of the street. It is too friendly to me who is mentally weak. I slept beautifully for 4 nights. , I will stay here next time! Highly recommended!
