Even the staff mentioned getting lost frequently during their first week working there. Because the hotel has been around for some years, while the rooms are spacious, some facilities aren't very new. The shower and toilet in the bathroom, for instance, were quite dated. However, it's clear the hotel is continuously undergoing renovations. The TVs support screen mirroring, and even the hairdryer is a Dyson replica. The service staff here are incredibly warm and excellent – I was extremely satisfied. It's a shame my itinerary was too rushed, and I didn't get a chance to do a hotel photoshoot. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Xishuangbanna. One important note: the mosquitoes here are of the 'Xishuangbanna variety.'
