Hotels in Gaozhuang/Starlight Night Market, Jinghong

The front desk staff, especially the young lady, was absolutely incredible and incredibly helpful! 🥹 We were in a frantic rush, almost missing our high-speed train. We quickly called a taxi, and she immediately jumped in to help with our luggage, even arranging for it to be sent directly from the hotel to the train station. She was so kind, constantly assisting us with our bags and loading them into the car! The hotel also offers an excellent pickup service. They picked us up directly from the high-speed train station and brought us to the hotel. The service was fantastic, and the vehicle was spacious and spotless. Our driver, a lovely lady, was incredibly warm and even brought us some small fruits from Nuoji Mountain (she called them 'Sanya fruits,' tasting like mini mangosteens!). The hotel's location in Gaozhuang is truly unbeatable! It's super close to the Starlight Night Market, surrounded by numerous restaurants and fruit shops. In the evenings, there are also plenty of delicious street food stalls! Overall, the hotel service was excellent! The breakfast area, located on the other side, also offered a wonderful ambiance. Our room was very clean and even included a washing machine, which was incredibly handy for laundry. We ran out of hangers and requested nine more, which were promptly delivered to our room. Honestly, the front desk staff really saved the day when we were almost late for our train! Seriously, everyone, you absolutely *must* stay at this hotel! It's also super convenient to order takeout from popular Xishuangbanna 'influencer' spots. The rooms are quite spacious and beautifully decorated, perfect for snapping some gorgeous photos!

Absolutely fantastic, completely exceeded my expectations! First off, the service was amazing. When we arrived, there was only one narrow parking spot left, and a kind gentleman helped me back in and carried our luggage. When we left, another friendly staff member was equally helpful, bustling around to assist with everything – so grateful! Then, the room view was simply stunning. Huge floor-to-ceiling windows looked directly out onto the Mekong River. The best part was that there was a fireworks show that night, with multiple displays throughout the evening, and we could watch them all from the rocking chair – it was incredibly delightful! The bed was also very comfortable and clean, and the amenities were plentiful. We even received handmade brown sugar as a welcome gift, and there was free white fungus sweet soup in the lobby, which was super delicious. Finally, the location is very convenient. It's not in the absolute busiest area, but it's close to the Starlight Night Market and within walking distance. Seriously, I super recommend it!

The hotel is very good. The room is very spacious, very clean, and very new. I chose a room facing the mountain view, but got a confusing view of the city. I highly recommend it. The hotel is excellent.

The room is exactly the same as the picture. There is a large connected balcony in every room. The service of the lady at the front desk at No. 31 is very good and satisfactory. She is especially considerate and can store your luggage for free. You can contact the hotel front desk for anything. There are several chairs on the balcony. You can sit and enjoy the beautiful night view and river view. The location is very close to everything. The famous Peacock Banquet is about a 3-minute walk downstairs. It is also very close to the Starlight Night Market and Wantai. Come and stay at this hotel!

The environment here is beautiful, the location is great, and the weather in the rainforest these past two days has been quite nice, not too hot. The hotel includes airport pick-up, which needs to be booked with the front desk one day in advance. The included breakfast is delicious, and we extended our stay for several more days. The hotel is very clean, and the front desk staff are attentive and welcoming. The surrounding area has complete amenities, with convenience stores and restaurants just a short walk away. There's also a small shopping mall nearby, making it easy to find places to watch movies and sing karaoke. I'll definitely come back to Xishuangbanna next year.

This hotel left a very good impression on me. Upon entering the room, it felt spacious and bright, very clean, and well-appointed with attention to detail. For example, the sockets were strategically placed for easy charging. The bed was very comfortable, with a mattress that was just the right firmness. The Peacock City complex is perfectly located on the banks of the Mekong River, near the night market. The room is basic, but has everything you need. The office is in the next building, and breakfast is in the adjacent building on the 49th floor in the panoramic restaurant. Certainly, this is an option for seasoned travelers, but the price-to-experience ratio is excellent.

The hotel is in a great location — right next to the night market and many spots in the Gaozhuang area. The bus station for reaching scenic spots is also within easy walking distance. Room cleaning was done well with daily restocking of essentials, and the front desk staff were helpful and responsive. Just note that the lobby has several front desks for different hotels, which can be a bit confusing at first. Overall, a very convenient and pleasant stay!

If you're visiting Xishuangbanna, you absolutely must stay at Jixianggu Hotel. On one hand, the facilities are excellent and the rooms are clean. More importantly, the front desk service is fantastic and incredibly welcoming, especially Miss Xiaoyu. She was so kind and helpful, assisting me with planning my routes and itinerary, perfectly solving all my dilemmas. A hundred likes and a top-notch review!
