Marco Polo (Jinjiang)

Cockroaches in the room 🪳 😂 Even though I got an upgrade, I still felt a bit disgusted 🤮. When I got to the new room and was about to sleep, there were mosquitoes 😂. All in all, this hotel is... well, emmm.

The room was comfortable, the environment was very elegant, and the service was excellent. It was also quiet and warm, and they even gave me a free room upgrade. I'm very satisfied and will definitely stay here again next time.

After all, it's an old five-star hotel in Jinjiang, so it's generally good. However, the surrounding area is all under construction, making it a bit noisy and dusty. Another issue is the bathroom. Although it's a wet/dry separation, there's a gap between the glass doors, so after showering, the floor around the toilet is completely wet. It also took three minutes for the hot water to come on, and then it was inconsistent, alternating between hot and cold. If you turn off the water to apply shampoo or shower gel, you have to wait another three or four minutes for it to get hot again. This really shouldn't be an issue for a five-star hotel. If you're traveling with children in such cold weather, they could easily catch a cold. I hope the hotel can improve this significantly.

Booked this hotel for a business trip. The front desk staff were friendly and incredibly diligent. They offered turn-down service, and the breakfast in the morning had a great variety and was very plentiful. It's only one bus stop away from the airport and easy to find.

The hotel has a great location and underground parking, which is convenient for those traveling by car. It's lively downstairs in the evenings, and not far from the Wudian City traditional block, where there are lots of great food options. The front desk contacted me in advance to communicate and even provided toiletries for the kids, which was a nice touch!
