Country Garden Fully Unblocked Seaview Suite by Dooga's Homestay

This guesthouse is incredibly unique and full of character. I never expected to find something like this in JB! It's quite true to the pictures, though the photos have a stronger ambiance and make it look newer than it is; in reality, some of the in-room facilities are a bit old. The ceilings are high and the balcony is very spacious, offering views of the sea, Singapore, and Malaysia simultaneously. The guesthouse is located in a high-end residential building, with excellent security downstairs and very good service. You need to pick up the key from the mezzanine floor beforehand, which is quite convenient. Each room comes with a free parking space, so parking is very easy. However, it does suffer from the common guesthouse issue of poor sound insulation. It seems like a whole apartment has been divided into two, as we could always hear sounds from next door. Also, the projector's clarity was very low. And the toilet paper quality was quite poor; it would be great if conditioner could also be provided. The host's responses on WhatsApp were pretty prompt, and most issues were dealt with immediately. Overall, it's very well-designed and quite quirky, definitely worth a stay. But for this price point, I would hope for better quality in some of the amenities.
