Hotel CIQ, Jalan Trus

The location is good, near to checkpoint and shopping mall. The hotel is old and the cleanliness needs to be improve!!! The bedsheet was stained and the sink was clogged when we checked in, called the reception and said only can be done the next day. The next day all changed and fixed when we went out. Overall still satisfying with the stay.

I was taken by surprise on the quality of the hotel as I do not have high expectations after reading the reviews. The hotel is hip and modern with a peranakan English colonial vibe within the decor. The reception personnel were pleasant and the staff were all friendly and warm. The room booked was for 3 and it's spacious and super tidy and clean. There is kettle, coffee, fridge amenities and topped with nice soft towels. There is also water dispenser outside the aisle where you can collect water. Its very near city square and komtar. You can take a short cut through a stairways to reach the hotel. The provision shop next to the hotel allows you to top up for drinks at very good pricing. I highly recommend families and travellers to opt for this though the surrounding seem a little run down, the hotel itself is a gem! I couldn't find a single speck of dust. I also want to thank trip.com for their facilitation. Thanks Hotel CIQ for making our stay a pleasant one. Will come back again! !

A very clean hotel, location is near CIQ so it’s very easy and convenient to go to Singapore. Shopping mall JBCC and Komtar is within walking distance.
