Hotel CIQ, Jalan Trus

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and had a pleasant experience. The room was small, but it was perfectly fine for a solo traveler like me. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The staff were really nice and helpful throughout my stay. The hotel is also affordable and in a great location, making it easy to get around and explore the area. Overall, I had a comfortable stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, budget-friendly hotel in a convenient location.

its in a prime location. easy to get by especially if you come before the wee hours. as for the room, it is clean-ok2. the triple room definitely is cleaner/looks well renovated compared to the double room. however, its nothing to fuss about. aircond was kinda hot on the first day (double room) though. definitely deserves more than 4.0 stars on google! i’d stay here again. thanks

We booked this accommodation at the last min as we were looking for a play to stay. Location was great, near CIQ and Komtar JBCC. Room wasn’t very clean but liveable for one night. There was a stain on our comforter and bedsheet (as seen in pic) and we told the staff to change it but I think due to miscom they gave us a thin piece of blanket (?) instead. So we basically slept without a comforter but it’s fine cos the aircon wasn’t very cold. It got colder towards the morning. There wasn’t any hair dryer too. We could also hear vehicles passing by and people closing their doors etc, the area wasn’t very soundproof. Still, we managed to get a good rest. Would recommend if you’re not fussy and looking for cheaper alternatives.

The room is beautiful and location is good easy to find we had a nice stay there.

Location was convenient. We chose this stay for a night before we head further up in Johor, hence we rented a car and thought that we'll be able to park outside the hotel since it was stated that there were limited parking lots available. To our dismay, the staff dismissed my request to release any of the parking lots outside, only to share that those lots are reserved for loading trucks like laundry. Even after our plea to allow us to park for one night and we'll be gone before 7am, she refused curtly, stating that these loading trucks can come any time during the night. In this case, please do not indicate that there are limited parking lots because there are zero lots for hotel guests anyway. Didn't help that she wasn't helpful with providing alternate options as a local.
