"Staffs was all friendly and proceeded with smooth check-in, was given a free upgrade to a triple room and high floor. Everything is good and definitely worth the price paid for.
Good water pressure and water temperature was easy to adjust to individual preferences, TV was new smart TV and also wider in size compared to some other hotel. Basic amenities were provided.
There’re 2 places to improve in my opinion;
1st- air conditioning since not cold enough as the room temperature stays at around 25 degree celsius.
2nd- room service came 9 plus asking, will be better to schedule to a later timing for guests that are not checking out.
Other than the above, this place is definitely my favourite and first choice."

"There were a bit congested during check in hours. Hotel guests crowded around registration counters forming long queue. Room keys were placed in different locations. However, customer service staff worked hard to serve the guests with efficiency and courtesy. Other staff also serve with professionalism and pleasant manner. Breakfast was delicious with great variety."

"We stayed in a deluxe king bedroom on the 16th floor.
It’s quite easily walkable from City Square Mall, abt 5-10min away :-) Staff were friendly too.
Very refreshing view of the causeway from where we were. The room itself was decently clean though the ceiling was a bit dusty. Bathroom amenities were the usual. But overall a decent choice for a hotel near CIQ :)"

"Had an awesome stay in this place. The place is spotless from the cleanliness to the amenities, everything was well-maintained and comfortable. The overlooking sea view was absolutely stunning, and the sunrise was such a beautiful sight to wake up to. It is very convenient and the place is accessible. Customer service was quick to respond and very accommodating. From check-in instructions and queries were all done via watsapp. I was attended by Ms. Jia En ( customer service representative from the service team). Indeed she has been helpful and friendly. She was so quick to respond in all my queries and guided me all through out our stay. Good thing about this place also is that you will feel really safe as there were security everywhere. We had a short stay but over all our experience was beyond expectations. Will definitely come back and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and scenic getaway.✨👌🤍"

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Capri by Fraser Johor Bahru. From the moment I checked in until the day I left, everything was flawless:
• Check-in & Service: The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. They made me feel welcome right away.
• Room: Spacious, spotless, and modern – the bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had everything I needed for a relaxing stay.
• Amenities: Excellent facilities including the pool and gym, all well-maintained and perfect for unwinding.

GGuest UserI had planned to stay at my usual 5 star hotel choice in JB City centre during my recent hop over to JB. I had chanced upon the Sheraton on trip.com, and therefore decided to experience it on a sunday evening, since there would be less crowds and a chance of a better stay experience. The hotel is located near the future RTS Link and attached to a mall, both of which are not open yet, which means that currently as of writing the hotel lags far behind its competitors in terms of location. I managed to check-in immediately upon arrival, unlike some of the other reviews here, which could be due to the fact that it was a sunday. The receptionist was friendly and polite and had professionally explained all the hotel facilities to me.
Our room was on the 10th floor, we did not book a skyline room since (JB has a skyline?😂). The room smelled and felt new, since it had only been 12 days then since opening. I was impressed by the size and spaciousness of the room(35sqm large), and the large size of the work table. The toilet was also spacious, with nice Grohe branded shower and taps, giving me the premium feeling. The rain shower was amazing. The room doesn't hold after close inspection however, as correctly pointed out by my friend, there is a strong plastic taste in the water supply when u hold it up with your hands to wash your face/while showering. Toiletries were from Sheraton's brand Gilchrist and Soames which were okay and acceptable, but I preferred Marriott's ThisWorks. The bigger issue in the room is the issue of workmanship. As I walked over to close the curtains, upon stepping on one vinyl floor panel my foot sank into the floor. I had initially thought that I needed to lose some weight but upon closer inspection there was an obvious dent and crack in the floor panel, which is odd for a newly opened hotel. Hopefully the hotel has rectified this. There was also some (paint?) splattered on the floor near the dent. No other issues with the room however, and I understand the hotel is still in a soft-opening stage. The aircon was also cold and strong unlike some other hotels I had stayed in recently.
The hotel facilities were definitely 5 star, with a large chic pool surrounded by trees, poolside chairs and cabanas. I had a relaxing stroll around it. Good for a staycation. The gym was also large and nicer than the other JB hotels. It was missing a smith machine though. I did not try the breakfast but I was told it was just alright, nothing remarkable. The lobby bar had a delectable range of pastries and sandwiches, at acceptable prices for a 5 star hotel. The latte was alright, but the dilmah tea was horrible. I was shocked that a bottle of water (Acqua Panna, 500ml) costed 28rm, it feels like highway robbery. I remember being charged 20rm for the same product at a marriott bonvoy property in Penang. The cake on the other hand is really good though.
I wish that hotel management reviewed this tripcom listing however, since there is no mention of the Unspoken Bar still being closed, as mentioned by a hotel staff upon inquiry since they are yet to receive the liquor license. Even more puzzling is the listing of this hotel as 4 star on tripcom. Based on my understanding, all Sheratons are branded as 5 star hotels, and a 4 star one would be branded as Four Points by Sheraton. This mistake just amazes me.
I don't think I would recommend this hotel just yet to a friend since it is clearly still in a soft-opening stage, but I would return again once the soft-opening stage has passed and the issues have been resolved.

FFiz Ahmadoverall had a pleasant experience—the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay; I also enjoyed the pool and gym facilities, which were well-maintained, but the WiFi connection was a bit inconsistent, the breakfast spread could be improved with better variety and replenishment, and the area can get slightly noisy in the mornings, though overall it offers good value for money and is a suitable choice for families or longer stays.

AAnna Marie KaibiganIf you're visiting Legoland Malaysia and looking for a more budget-friendly alternative to the Legoland Resort, Ramada by Wyndham Meridin Johor Bahru is a solid choice. The hotel is located just a short drive from the theme park, making it convenient for families.
The rooms are impressively spacious and comfortable, offering great value for the price. We appreciated the modern decor and cleanliness of the space, which made our stay pleasant and relaxing.
One area for improvement would be the shuttle service. While the hotel does offer some transport options, it would be much more convenient if they increased the frequency or added more scheduled trips, especially during peak hours or weekends when many guests are heading to and from Legoland.
Overall, it's a great stay for families or groups looking to save a bit without compromising on comfort.

RRandomstuffsgWe had a great stay at Hotel Granada Bukit Indah! It’s super convenient—just a short walk to AEON Mall and close to plenty of cafes, shops, and even Sutera Mall is just a short drive away.
We stayed in Room 918, which had a lovely view and was spacious and clean. We really appreciated that the room wasn’t carpeted—it feels fresher and is actually our preference too. Service was prompt and friendly; we requested an extra pair of slippers and they brought it up quickly without fuss.
The buffet breakfast was decent, with a good enough variety to start the day. All in all, a solid stay for the price and location—would definitely return.

Bed sheet is a little old and soiled. It is actually ok if you are not very fussy.
There is a mini fridge in the room which is not cold at all, which is a little disappointing.
The TV has no signal even after seeking some assistance.
The location is good. It is on Jalan Trus, which is a stone throw to many places - City Square, Komtar, nice eatery etc.
Good place to stay if one is not fussy about the basic amenities.
