The best hospitality and food. On the beach with incredible views as well as guest services. I'm going back all the month of December 2025 .and the first of January 2026. I hope to see and talk with my friend and owner Elkie about buying a house here in Santa Veronica.

Excellent care for visitors. We spent two weeks here and enjoyed every minute. Chef Juan and his talented staff were able to accomodate my dietary preferences with some excellent homestyle cooking - my partner's fav was the ceviche and the filet mignon. The mango cheese cake was perfect end to any meal - if you have room. Food service sizes were quite large by Canadian standards. Shuttle service to the bay or up wind were avail for those not skilled enough to kite through the shore break out front.

Hidden gem!! I highly recommend!!! Maria the owner, and her staff were more than accommodating. The service was impeccable and the food was amazing!! We will be back!!

We stayed at juanmar for 1 night as a quick getaway from the city during our 1 week trip to cartagena. Pro's: the staff and the owners were absolutely wonderful and very warm and welcoming. During our stay the hotel and the town of Santa Veronica were not very busy, traveling as a couple looking for a quiet place this was ideal. We had a private beach and hotel nearly to ourselves. The cool ocean breeze was a nice break from the heat in the city. The location was great, a short distance from the main beach town with nice restaurants and ocean views. The food service at the hotel itself was also delicious and well priced. Cons: rooms are a bit small and no television if thats your thing, wifi good in the common area, not so good in the rooms. Thanks to our hosts for welcoming us and hope to return.

My kiteboarder husband and I very much enjoyed our stay here as we connected with our friends. The best part was the great care and hospitality shown us by owners Maria and Elkin, their sons, and their attentive staff. I felt so relaxed and at home. Meals are often made to order, fresh, and delicious. Be sure to ask for the schnitzel! Strong wi-fi to work remote and do Zoom calls. While I didn't kiteboard, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. You can get a massage if you make arrangements, it's very good and reasonably priced. In the room the pillows were great, the towels were super fluffy, everything was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is being kept very clean all day long by friendly staff. I can't say enough good things about this place. It's been one of my favorite vacations and I can't wait to go back!
